Chapter 11 - lunch time with Lauren

And lunch break has begun. Lauren and her friends gathered outside the school campus. Kasama niya sina Christine, Erica, Tessa, Taylor, Althea at Kendra. Manlilibre si Taylor ng lunch.

"Guys, manlilibre si Taylor ng lunch! Taylor, okay lang ba na isama ko sina Kendra at Althea?" Lauren asked.

"Yes please!" Taylor replied.

"Guys, chicken or pizza?" Lauren asked.

"Pizza! I love pizza!" Tessa answered.

"Chicken for me." Kendra added.

"Okay. Sige, parehas na lang. Pizza at chicken. I know a place na pwede nating kainan. It's a pizzeria owned by my ate's classmate family. Duon tayo ano?" Lauren asked again.

"Pwede din." Christine said.

"Let's go guys!" Lauren said.

"Dala ko tsekot ko." Kendra said. Kendra owns a 2014 Chevrolet Suburban, given to her as a gift by her grandfather.

"Wow. Hindi namin alam na may tsekot ka, Kendra?" Taylor said.

"Matagal na ito. Kakabigay lang sa akin ito nung third week of school. Sentimental value ito sa akin. Gift ito sa akin ng lolo ko." Kendra said.

"Nice!" Lauren said.

"Hop in guys! Welcome to my humble car." Kendra said.

"Wow, ang laki naman ng car mo!" Althea said. "I wish na magkaroon ako nyan one day."

"Mangyayari yan!" Lauren said.

Kendra's driving the car, with Lauren beside her. Althea and Tessa were seating on the second row of the car, habang nasa pangatlong row naman sina Christine, Erica and Taylor.

"Tessa, ilang taon ka na?" Althea started the conversation.

"16 na po." Tessa replied.

"Parang hindi ka 16, Tessa! Para kang 18, hahaha!" Taylor joked. And laughter filled the whole car.

"Uy! Huwag niyong niloloko-loko si Tessa, baka mamaya hindi niya kayo ilibre niyan sa susunod! Haha!" Lauren said.

"Haha! Loko kayo guys!" Tessa said.

"Saan banda yung pizzeria, Lau?" Kendra asked.

"Sa Financial District tayo. Dagohoy Street." Lauren replied.

"Ah! Oo! I know the place! Dyan kami nakain minsan. Ay oo, masarap pizza dyan!" Kendra said.

"Wow! Excited na ako dyan sa libre ni Taylor!" Christine said.

"Christine! Minsan naman ikaw ang manlibre! Hindi pa kami nakakatikim ng libre mo!" Lauren said.

"Oo nga!" Erica added.

"Sige ba!" Christine said.

"Baka naman drawing lang yan! Hahaha!" Taylor said.

"You guys are so funny!" Althea said.

"Ganyan lang talaga kami magkulitan at magbiruan! Mabait naman kami eh!" Lauren said.

"Mabait kapag tulog!" Christine said. And laughter filled the car again.

And they arrived at the pizzeria. It was located in the Financial District of the City of Escoda. It's called "Italianos". The old-styled pizzeria's landlocked by tall buildings and was also near the tallest building in Escoda, the 81 Financial Plaza, with the height of 464 metres.
