Chapter 19.3 - Time to Be a Revolutionary (part 3 of 3)

The next day, after lunch, Lauren and the SSG officers gathered inside the SSG room.

"This is it guys. Don't be afraid. Walang magiisip ng negative sa atin. It is now our time to talk to the principal. Si Lord na ang bahala sa atin, ipagkatiwala lang natin ito sa kanya." Lauren said.

"Tama! At naniniwala ako na answered prayer na ito! Tama ba guys?!" Mico said.

"Tama!" the other officers answered in unison.

And this time, they went near the door of the principal's office. Pero, nakita nila na may mga security guards malapit sa pintuan ng office. Naku po. Dati naman, wala namang bantay na guard diyan sa office, ngayon lang nagkaroon simula ng i-declare ng principal na buwag na ang mga school clubs at nung tinanggalan na ang mga scholar students ng scholarship.

Lauren and the students went near the door of the office. The guards came up and asked Lauren.

"Anong kailangan niyo?" the guard sternly asked.

"Ah sir, gusto po kasi naming makipagusap sa principal, we are here to have a diplomatic talks to him." Lauren answered.

"Usap tungkol saan?" the guard asked again.

"About po kung bakit binuwag po ang SSG ng principal at tsaka bakit po binuwag niya din ang clubs. Naniniwala ako na hindi niya magagawa yun." Lauren replied.

"Mayroon ba kayong appointment sa principal?" the guard replied.

"So far sir, wala po. But we need to talk to him po. Yun lang." Lauren replied.

"Ay hindi pupwedeng wala kayong appointment tapos pupunta kayo sa office ng principal ng walang pasintabi?! At pangalawa, hindi ineentertain ng principal ang mga opisyales ng SSG sa opisina niya! At yang ginagawa niyo, form of protest yan! Gusto niyo bang ma-blacklist kayo sa eskwelahan? Kontra kayo ng kontra sa desisyon ng principal!" the guard yelled.

"Sir, please, papasukin niyo po kami! May karapatan po kami na magsalita dahil estudyante po kami ng school na ito! Please sir, papasukin niyo po kami!" Lauren said.

"Hindi! Umalis na kayo dito!" the guard said, and he dragged Lauren and the students out of the office door.

Plan A failed. But there's a plan B. Disappointed, they went back to the SSG office to discuss the plan B.

"Lauren, it's time for plan B! We'll do it tomorrow. Kontakin mo ang mga class officers ng bawat year at kada section, and we will make a snap election about this issue. Hayaan natin na magsalita ang mga estudyante about dito." Mico said.

"Dahil class president ako ng 2nd Year Section 2, mag-dedeclare na akong ng plebiscite about sa ginawa ng principal. Sige, gagawa na ako ng mga balota. Lau, kontakin mo na yung mga class president." Andrea said.

"Okay, eto na." Lauren said.

And Andrea started to make copies of ballots. Ang nakasulat, payag ba kayo na tanggalan ng scholarship ang mga scholars ng Escoda High School? At payag ba kayo na tanggalin din ang mga school clubs at activities ng school? At kayo ba ay sumasang-ayon na buwagin ang supreme students government? Bilugan lamang ang sagot. Oo o hindi.

Lauren has contacted DJ, yung boyfriend ni Christine. DJ is a class president of 3rd Year, Section 4. Pinuntahan niya mismo sa room si DJ.

"Hello DJ. Can I talk to you for a while?" Lauren asked.

"Sige, no problem. Anong meron?" DJ asked.

"Magkakaroon ng secret plebiscite bukas. Inorganise namin ito, kasama ang SSG. Mamaya, dumaan ka ng SSG office, kunin mo yung mga balota." Lauren replied.
