Chapter 17 - Hearts

Lauren's family just came home from church, kasama sina Jane at Daniella. They ate some fried fish and fried chicken.

"Mum, namiss kong pumunta sa church. Iba talaga ang nasa church ka eh." Lauren said.

"That's true Lauren! At alam mo, mas masaya na umaattend ka ng church every Sunday. At iba ang godly life kumpara mo sa ordinary life. That's the reason why I succeed in life. I give everything to God." Rita said.

"And ma, thanks for your prayers to us. Without them, I will never finish my education." Kate said.

"Totoo po yan ma'am Rita. Life with God in the centre is the greatest thing you could have. With God, your destiny is success." Daniella said.

"Amen to that!" Rita responded.

That afternoon, Lauren and Kate are playing FIFA 15 on her PS3 inside Lauren's room.
Lauren's using Manchester United while Kate using Liverpool. (They're the best football clubs in England)

"Ate, are you a fan of football?" Lauren asked as they played.

"Not really, how about you?" Kate replied.

"Ako din, hindi gaano. But I watch football games in TV." Lauren said. (Julia, sana suportahan mo ang football culture in real life, hahaha)

"By the way, malapit na pala ang graduation ceremony ko. One month na lang. March 22." Kate said. "I-celebrate natin ng matindi ito. Invite your classmates whenever possible ah?"

"No problem ate Kate! Para sayo, gagawin ko yan." Lauren said.

"Thanks!" Kate said.

And their game ended. Lauren won over Kate, with a goal of 3-0.

"Good game, Lauren! Sa totoo lang, hindi ako mahilig maglaro ng video games, but I'll make sure na kapag next time na maglaro tayo ulit, babawi ako. Baba muna ako ah." Kate said.

"Okay ate. Seeya later!" Lauren said. And Kate went out of the room. Lauren resumed the game and she played Tekken Tag 2.

But suddenly, while Lauren was playing, ay tumawag naman si JP. Lauren paused the game. (Lauren's using an Oppo phone)

"Hello?"

"Lauren! Nasa bahay ka ngayon?" JP asked.

"Nandito ako sa bahay. Bakit?" Lauren asked.

"Puntahan kita dyan kung okay lang. Anong ginagawa mo ngayon?" JP said.

"Eto, naglalaro ng Playstation." Lauren replied.

"Nice. I'll be there na. Bye." JP said.

"JP, what are you up to?" Lauren said. And she resumed the game.

Ten minutes later, JP arrived. He knocked at Lauren's door.

"Come in, bukas yan!" Lauren said while playing.

And JP came in. He was so handsome today.

"Hey there JP!" Lauren said.

"Hello! Anong nilalaro mo?" JP asked.

"Tekken Tag 2. Favourite ko to." Lauren said.

"Nice. By the way, I've bought something for you pala." JP said. And JP gave Lauren a big box of Ferrero chocolate, plus some Kinder Bueno.

"Thank you!" Lauren said. "Upo ka. Do you want to play with me?"

"Sige. Gusto ko yan!" JP said. And Lauren gave JP the controller and she started a match. They're sitting on Lauren's bed.
