Chapter 20 - Last day of School (part 1)

"Ma, last day na po pala ng school namin. Balak po naming mag-sleep over dito sa bahay, tsaka mag-cecelebrate po kami dito ng birthday ng isang classmate namin." Lauren said. They're eating breakfast together with Rita, Kate and the chefs.

"Madami ba kayo? Mga ilan kayo?" Rita asked.

"Mga nasa 45 po eh." Lauren replied.

"Baka hindi kayo magkasya sa bahay kung ganyan kayo kadami." Rita said.

"Sige po, baka sa ibang bahay na lang po kami ng classmate namin mag-sleep over po." Lauren replied.

"Okay then. Mga chefs, ang sarap ng morrocoan beef na ginawa niyo. Good job! Dahil dyan, I will give you a bonus! 75 dollars for you guys!" Rita said.

"Salamat po ma'am Rita!" Chef Jane and Daniella said.

"Opo ma, ang sarap ng niluto nila chef!" Kate said. "Nga pala ma, next week na po ang graduation ceremony namin."

"That's nice! Mga chef, mag-prepare na kayo ng menu na lulutuin niyo sa graduation party ni Kate." Rita said.

"Sige po ma'am! We will make the food delicious!" Chef Jane said.

And after Lauren finished eating her breakfast, she said, "Ma, alis na po muna ako. Dadaan na lang po ako mamaya dito para magpaalam na on the way na kami. Tsaka pala ma, pwede ko po bang hiramin yung kotse niyo?"

"Sige anak. Yung sedan lang ang hiramin mo ah?" Rita said.

"Okay po ma, thanks ma!" Lauren said, and she kissed her mum and Kate goodbye. "Bye po!" And off she went.

Lauren borrowed her mum's car, a white 2015 Volvo S60. And within 30 minutes, she arrived at school.

Lauren went to her homeroom, and she noticed that all of her classmates are there!

"Guys, last day na pala ng school ngayon. Classmates pa kaya tayo next year?" Lauren asked.

"Sana. Mamimiss ko kayo guys!" Christine added.

"Ako din." Althea and Gabriella said.

"Don't be sad guys. Diba may meetup naman tayo sa April diba? Tsaka, mag-iisleep over pa tayo sa bahay nina Lauren!" Taylor said.

"Yun nga eh, hindi pumayag si mum. Kasi maliit ang bahay namin." Lauren replied.

"Ay sayang. Di bale, duon na lang sa amin tayo mag-sleep over. Tsaka, birthday ko ngayon! Sabay na yung celebration sa sleepover natin!" Taylor replied.

"Guys, alam niyo na! Para makasama kayo, batiin niyo ng happy birthday si Taylor!" Tessa said. And they sang a birthday song for her.

"Guys, salamat ah! I love you all!" Taylor said. And Lauren gave her a hug.

And for her last day in the school, dumaan si Lauren muna sa SSG office to say goodbye to her co-officers. Si Nash ay gagraduate na, so this will be her last day as a SSG officer and a student in the Escoda State High School.

As Lauren went inside the office, all of the officers are waiting for her.

"Lauren, thanks for being a living legacy in this school. Naging makulay ang isang buong taon ng supreme student government. Thank you dahil nagkaroon ng isang president na may wisdom. Dahil sayo, nabalik ang tiwala ng mga students sa SSG. At hindi lang yun, na-eliminate na ang corruption sa school natin." Mico said.

"And because of that, the teachers have decided that you will remain as a president of the SSG, therefore, wala nang election next year ng mga SSG officers! At makakasama mo pa kami bilang mga co-officers mo!" Andrea said. "Kaso ang nakakalungkot lang, last day na ni Nash as a school officer dahil ga-graduate na siya."
