After the quarantine Jules and Scott had agreed with their Dad to meet at the police station. Jules still not telling Scott what had happened while she was dead. How does one tell someone  that they saw their brothers ex girlfriend in what they were pretty sure was bardo.

Jules had no clue, so she put it off for now, focusing her attention on her Dads voice as her and Scott wait outside his office. "Preliminary notes on firearm discharge incident. Assailant armed with sound-suppressor equipped Walther P88... Having heard the perpetrator's threat and countdown, I made visual confirmation of the barrel of the weapon pressed to the potential victim's head. Determining the danger to be imminent, I felt no other choice but to respond with the use of deadly force." He says finishing the recording.

He walks out a look of regret in his eyes. "Thanks for waiting. I know it's late." He tells his kids as they walk closer to him. "It's okay. It's not like we're going to be going to school tomorrow anyway." Scott tells him.

"Unfortunately, I'm going to have to drive back to
San Francisco tonight. I'll need to do a review at the field office. But I'll be back as soon as I can. I might have to miss the first game of the season." He tells them, Jules slightly disappointed as she wanted her Dad to see her play.

"It's no big deal Dad, there's plenty of other games." She tells him smiling at him and then looking at her feet. "It is to me. I'm keeping my promises this time. What I did, it was necessary. Justifiable. You know that, right?" He tells them holding the bag containing a gun and a few bullets.

"Have you done it before?" Scott asks their Dad. "Two other times. It's not easy, taking a man's life, even someone who forces you to do it." He tells them. "How do you deal with it?" Jules asks him.

"You look at it logically. Without emotion. You compartmentalize." He tells them Scott astounded at the fact that their Dad was able to do this.

"How do you do that?"

"I used to do it by drinking." He says laughing nervously knowing it affected his relationship with them. Rafael walks closer to them hugging them both, Scott and Jules wrapping their arms around him.

"One more thing. When I do come back, we have to talk about some stuff. You and your friends, the way you guys handle things, it doesn't seem to faze you like it should. It's like you guys know something I don't. When I come back, I'd like to be in the know." He tells them patting both their backs and dragging them to his car until Brett walks in running up to Jules and hugging her catching her by surprise.

Her eyes widen as she slowly wraps her arms around him. "I'm glad you're okay.I was with Satomi, Deaton, and your Mom when I heard what was going on at the school."

Scott smiled at the pair, Brett and Jules reminding him of him and Allison. Rafael looking between the two teens, later nudging Scott. "Is he her boyfriend?" He asks Scott, who was still watching their interaction. "They're just friends...I think." Scott tells him laughing to himself watching his Dad freak out over the possibility of Jules having a boyfriend.
