Human.

Normal.

Ordinary.

Jules tried to be as close as she possibly could to that. But how could she, she was a Cadejo. She didn't even know what that was until last year. She thought she was the first of her kind, she hadn't met another and she never knew if she ever would. She had a faster healing ability then any Werewolf, she had an aura like a  Kitsune's, she could bring people back from the dead. She was no where near normal. So how could she adjust being human again on the fly?

The amount of energy she used to bring Brett and Lori back along with the state she was in hadn't worked in her favor. She found herself extremely weak and not only that, she had accidentally cut her finger—not realizing that a scalpel was placed on the table behind her where she placed her hands.

It had been hours and the small cut still hadn't healed and this had worried both her and everyone in the clinic. Deaton did tests, he took her blood and even did a cranial exam to make sure nothing else was wrong. He brought a plant and tried to use her abilities to bring it back but she couldn't even do that.

"What's wrong with me?" The tone of her voice made Brett hold her hand as Deaton explained the results of his tests. "I think you've overused your abilities. You were already lacking energy and at the same time you were in shock. You've never had to bring a person back to life, only animals and plants. Not only that but you had to bring back two people. It's not surprising that you've been worn out, I'm just surprised that I didn't think of it sooner."

Deaton looked at her blood through a microscope as she swung her feet back and forth. "So what does that mean? How long will I be like this? When will I get my abilities back?" She was desperate at that point, she had wanted to feel normal so many times but now she had accepted the fact that she never would be.

Being supernatural was something that became normal for her. Now she was expected to become Human again. Being Human was unnatural now. "How long will you be Human? I don't know but it won't last forever. Your abilities will come back in due time. For now, spend time with your friends, go to school, and watch out for Liam. Out of everyone yesterday he felt the most guilty. Make sure he doesn't get into any trouble."

Deaton walked out with her samples and left Jules alone with Brett and Lori who had been healing from the nights events. They both noticed the worried look on her face but she tried to play it off. "You two should stay here until Scott finds Satomi and the rest of your pack. You'll be safe here, Malia and Lydia will make sure of it." Jules could not only see the anxiety on Lori's face. She gave the siblings a smile and hugged them both. It lasted longer then a normal hug but she had almost lost them and if it weren't for her abilities they wouldn't even be here right now.

She grabbed her things and Brett grabbed her hand, pulling her back quickly. "Don't let them get to you." He knew the day wasn't going to be easy for her along with Liam and Corey. Liam had essentially been outed as a supernatural and because Jules and Corey were associated with him, people would begin to ask question. Jules smiled at his words of encouragement and kissed his lips.
