It had been a few day since the lacrosse game. It had been difficult to hide the secret of the supernatural existing as many of the students had seen the ghost riders. Not only did Jules have to worry about that but she had another meeting with Deaton. Brett had accompanied her this time and it seemed like he was more nervous then she was.

She hadn't really explained her newer abilities to him and seeing them head on was making him more nervous then he would like to admit. They stood in the exam room with Deaton who had placed a dead dog in the table making Jules close her eyes as she didn't want to look at it. "This is a little too much." She says to Deaton who had a calm look i'm his face. "We must try everything, and this includes dead animals. If you wish for your abilities to develop we must conduct these experiments." He says to her which makes her nod.

"Okay so what do I do." She asks him. "I want you to place you hand on it." Deaton says as he takes her hand and placed it flat on the dog's body. "Close your eyes. It's just like what we did a few months ago with the plant. Imagine blood running through it veins, feel the warmth under your fingers. Feel the movement as it breaths. Imagine it's injuries healing as it's eyes begin to open." Deaton says as Jules imagines every single detail he tells her.

A bright light begins to emit itself from her hands. However this was different from the other times she's done this. Her aura usually never appeared when she did this but this time it did. It had become significantly taller which left Brett shocked as the last time he had seen her aura it was only a few inches taller. He assumed that this meant her abilities were getting stronger almost like the light emitting from her hands. Once again they had to cover their faces as it was getting too bright for their eyes.

Once the light dimmed down Jules till had her eyes closed until she heard a bark. She opened her eyes slowly to see the dog had its tongue out and it's tail had been wagging. "I did that?" Jules asks astonished as she had only been able to bring back a few plants and grass. "Mhm next thing we have to practice is bringing people back to life but let's leave that for another day." Deaton tells her as suddenly Scott barges in grabbing Jules's arm.

"Woah Scott what's wrong?" She asks seeing Scott's shocked state. "We need to go somewhere with Lydia and Malia." He tells her as she waves to Brett saying goodbye leaving him with Deaton. "Where are we going." She asks as she sees Lydia and Malia in a blue Jeep.

"We're going to Canaan."

"Where are we?" Scott asks the group as the exit the Jeep to look around at what seemed an abandoned town. "According to the GPS, this is it." Malia tells him. "This is it. Canaan's a ghost town." Lydia says as she walks ahead of them. "I don't hear a single heartbeat." Scott says as Malia tunes her head to catch a scent. "I'm not catching any scents." Malia says making Jules close her eyes and take a deep breath trying to find any sign of life. "I can't feel any life force." She tells them leaving them a bit stunned but they continue.
