Jules never expected to find herself in New Mexico. Especially not with Brett who was the one driving her there. She knew getting Kira from the Skin Walkers was gonna be a long shot but she had to try. The pack wasn't going to get by with her. Although most of the pack didn't admit it, Kira was one of the strongest assets. Now that she was training with the Walkers, who knew just how strong she was now.
Scott didn't even know she was there, she knew the location when Kira had told her about her experience with the Walkers. It was very sunny, the sun seemed like it wanted to blind her with how bright it was. It reminded her a lot of California summers, they were scorching but it have her an excuse to go to the pool or the beach.
Most would be dreading the warmth but she felt a sort of comfort with it. She couldn't imagine living in a place that went below 70. Living in California her whole life she got used to it being warm all the time.
She was also used to seeing lots of buildings, but in shiprock all they saw was rocks. Rock after rock after rock. It seemed like a lonely place where she would never want to live. It made her question how Kira was doing. Had she controlled her Kitsune spirit? And if she did would she plan on even coming back?
Jules had all these questions running through her head she didn't even realize they had made it to their destination. Brett got out first and opened the door for her. They took their first few steps and instantly the ground started shaking. "You sure this is a good idea?" Brett asked her as the three women arose from the ground.
"State your full names." One of the women says to them with a devilish tone underneath. "Juliana Lucia McCall." Jules stated, the women then turned her head towards Brett who still looked concerned. "Brett William Talbot."
"What is it you seek?"
"We need the help of one of your students, Kira Yukimura. Hunters have taken over Beacon Hills and we need help to try and stop them." The Walkers said nothing, all they did was tune behind them. When they moved out of the way they could see Kira walking towards them. She gave Jules a small smile but she could tell something was wrong. She could see a slight sadness in Kira's eyes.
"The Kitsune may have control but she is doomed to stay here with us. We said we would help her, we never said we would let her go." The Walker tells her which infuriates Jules. "This isn't fair. She has control of her Kitsune spirit you said you would help her."
Kira could only look at her with despair. Yes the Walkers helped her greatly but deep down they always had evil intentions. Jules couldn't just stand by while Kira suffered. "What do I have to do for you to let her go."
"Jules."
Brett said quietly, not wanting her to do something irrational. The Walkers smiled slightly as they looked at each other. They were all thinking the same thing and their leader turned to Jules. "If you want the Kitsune so badly you must fight for her. Nothing here comes without a price. If you win she goes with you."
