After the meeting, the vacations were over and classes resumed.

I was panicking just at the thought of facing school.

Shit! I'm still Sylvia.

We met in front of the school entrance and when I arrived, everyone was silent. A silence.

But also everyone moved aside.

I could hear whispering, "It's her... It's the dragon! Are you scared? What if it gets mad?

Yes, it's Sylvia, do you think it's Poisse? She has two personalities?"

It was upsetting, but the mood eased when Jasmine jumped on me, and my buddies hugged me.

Then it was Dany's kiss.

And Philippe "warmed" my hair to mess up my hair. "Hey, the dragon, let's relax!"

I started to laugh;

"thank you guys!"

Then, the ranks were reformed and one went each one in our respective classes.

The teacher waited until we were sitting in class and then asked me. "Sylvia, I think the students have a lot of questions, but it shouldn't interfere with the curriculum. If you want to say a word, now is the time. You have one minute.

I got up and stood in front of the board.

"Hello my friends. Yes, I'm the dragon but I'm still Sylvia. I was born human like everyone else, but I also have the body of a dragon. I love Dany and all my friends. I would like to finish my year like everyone else and later have a diploma and a job like all of you. Thank you. Thank you very much. And thank you again for not rejecting me."

A classmate: "Do you know how to do magic?"

"Not really. Teacher? Can I go back to my place?"

Cutting short the questions, I didn't want to disturb my class too much.

The days passed and our situation stabilized but only one salary was hard. I would calm down my snack shopping and help mom at home with a little magic for cleaning, a bit like in the story of Merlin the Enchanter where the brooms and buckets took care of the apartment.

We never heard from Surish again... he went back to his family, to his cousins, the Brahmins having convinced him to leave us alone.

For his part, Viseron was making simulations upon simulations. But he wanted to convince me to work with him to bring back the dragons.

I didn't respond to any of his requests.

My instincts were not lying to me. If he wanted to reach them to "help" them get home. It was probably to emiminate them once and for all, finally bring back some females for him.

Bishop kept reminding me never to trust him.

For my part, I was disappointed for Oriharukon and I was starting to resent them, but it was stupid of me.

Bishop tried to reach me but since we no longer had the house, he found my grandmother who was happy to see him alive.

"On my phone, it was important to see him but he was suspicious. I was certainly under surveillance and the technology, it was a bug nest."

We still had 6 weeks before the block for the senior exams.

In the evening, I found mom. "Mom, I'm going to see grandma... You know... don't be afraid, okay? It's my dragon thing.

"But, honey... You know, even though you're a dragon and very, very strong, I'm still afraid for you. Besides, you're all I have left in the world, yeah, there's grandma and grandpa and your daddy's grandma who's still alive. But, as a mom, I sometimes have hunches.
