"Alright, I think we got all of it," I said to Ora once I zipped the final suitcase of clothing I had. She sat on my bed looking sad and I couldn't help but frown and sit next to her. "On the bright side, you can leave the house more often now."

"But you'll still be far away from me," she whimpered and I wrapped my arms around her shoulders. Her pregnancy made her much more emotional and needier than usual, I found it really entertaining and cute at the same time. I had a little niece or nephew growing in there and I got to watch the process, well not anymore but hopefully I still will.

"I know, but I will try to come back on weekends and I'll pass by almost every day because I have to check up on our baby in there," I pressed a kiss on her tummy and got up from the bed.

"That would be amazing, have you talked to your father yet?" she asked and I rolled my eyes. So, there was no honeymoon to our surprise, and Kiara was always out and about, came back home with so many shopping bags and was extremely bitchier than usual.

"Nope, I was thinking of having a silent leave, I don't want a screaming match again," I answered truthfully and she frowned, nodding.

"But that screaming match was able to get me to finish school and stop working here, but luckily enough I'll still live here and it's all thanks to you," she said, hugging me.

"Yes, and it got me kicked out of the house sooner than I was supposed to, but that's okay," I answered shrugging and she looked at me.

"Chris is going to quit, and he wants me to move in with him," she dropped the bomb on me and I stared at her in shock.

"But he lives in another town," I said slowly and she nodded.

"Yeah, and I agreed to move in with him. I mean I'm already pregnant with his child, and I no longer work for your father, you're leaving, so I see no point in staying here anymore."

"But now you'll be further away from me," I whispered feeling the tears well up at the news of my best friend moving away from the house we grew up in, hell, I was also moving out but I-

"I know, but I promise to always visit you, and you should always visit your baby," she said, kissing my cheek and I sniffled, wiping away my tears.

"I can't believe we're both leaving the place we grew up in," I laughed and she giggled, wiping her tears.

"Me too, we've been through so much in this house together," she said and I nodded.

"Everything, but we always have to begin our lives at some point, and here you are ready to be a mother and wife someday," I said.

"And you start your career and hopefully fix your issues with Daniels," she punched my boob and I groaned in pain.

"No need to be violent, we were having such an emotional session, why the shift?"

"Because you're being an idiot! Fix things," she repeated sternly and I blew blueberries. "I'm serious Amelia."

"Yes mom, now come on, let's go make your man busy before he leaves, yeah?" I threw my arm around her shoulder and we walked downstairs together talking about specific rooms and memories we had in that room.

"Amelia!" I heard my dad call me from his office and I groaned, throwing my head back. I was really hoping I wouldn't have to talk to him yet.

"Go, I'll tell Chris to take your bags," Ora said, pushing me in the direction of his office and I slowly walked over there. I knocked on the door and pushed it open finding my dad looking down at his tablet.

"Yes sir?" I muttered and he looked up motioning for me to enter his office and close the door.

"Were you on your way out?" he asked, taking off his glasses and leaning back on his chair.

"Not yet, I was looking for Chris to help me with my bag," I said and he nodded his head.

"Are you excited to move out from this place?" I looked at him quizzically because I couldn't understand why he was asking all of these questions.

"Yes, very."

"Enjoy your freedom huh?" he said smiling and I chuckled and nodded.

"Definitely, some fresh air away from this jail," I said and he smiled without saying anything. He stared at me and I couldn't read his expression. I've seen him give it to a few people before, well even me when I was younger but now I couldn't figure out what I had done wrong.

"So you could fuck that boy in the comfort of your own space right?" I stared at him in horror, registering what he was saying.

"I don't understand?"

"Amelia, I'm a lot of things but an idiot, I know you have been sleeping with Daniels, and you have been doing so for quite some time, generally, since the day you turned eighteen."

I stared at him and folded my arms over my chest keeping quiet.

"I thought perhaps having him go away and leave you behind would help with your infatuation with him but it seemed to get worse," he spitted disgustedly with a frown on his face. "I want you to stop this behaviour!"

"No," I said, shrugging my shoulders and his nose flared, I wasn't about to let him dictate my life even now, I was older now and I can stand my ground.

"Amelia, it wasn't a request. You will stop sleeping with that Daniels!" he raised his voice and I got up from my chair pressing my hands on his desk.

"And I said no, I'm a grown woman and I will sleep with whoever I want, you don't get to tell me what to do with my life anymore!" I shouted. "I'm not mom!" I turned around and got ready to storm out of his office but his next words hit me like a bucket of ice.

"I know your little friend is pregnant with that bodyguard's kid, I will cut off her funding and make their lives a living hell," he said and I turned around. "Now sit down and let's talk."

"Is that what you said to mom, you promised to make her life a living hell yet she's out there living happily without you." I spitted and he closed his eyes, clenching his fists.

"I promise you they will suffer, now sit down and let's talk. I wouldn't want anything to happen to your dear Aurora, especially when she's planning on moving out of here, you do want her to be happy don't you?"

I stared at my dad and I couldn't believe what he was saying, I knew he was cruel, but to this point, I had never experienced it before.

I sat down on the chair and I watched as the smirk took over his features while he watched me obey his commands.

"Now, this is what you will do..."
