Warnings: Swearing, slight angst⚠️

Osamu watched from afar as you got confessed to by a former classmate of yours. He clenched his jaw watching the sight in front of him, his stomach churning; forcing his eyes away from you.

He got up and figured you'd accept the confession, he beat himself up for not revealing his feelings first. He was afraid of ruining your friendship, he had a sliver of hope whenever you'd return his cheeky remarks.

"Hey- where are ya goin'?" Atsumu called out for him.

"Home." Osamu answered.

"I thought we're all gonna hang out, y'know with Suna?" Atsumu says panting having to reach his brothers fast walking.

"Go without me."

"But why? What happened?" Atsumu says.

"Yeah, what happened?" Suna says as he caught up to the two at the entrance of the school.

"Nothin'." Osamu brushed them off. He really liked you, every time you complimented his cooking it'd make his heart skip a beat. When you'd cheer him on for volleyball, hanging out with him, the funny inside jokes the two of you shared, he fell in love with all of it.

"Oi, 'Samu! I'm talkin' to 'ya." Atsumu huffs.

"What'd ya want." Osamu answered getting annoyed.

"Ya left 'cause of Y/N, right?" He says.

"Wait what happened? I thought the two of you were good." Suna joined.

"We are. 'S fine." Osamu grumbled.

"No 's not. 'Samu saw Y/N get confessed to just now, and he's sad." Atsumu explained.

"'M not sad 'ya nosy shit." Osamu clenched his jaw.

"I doubt she accepted, it's obvious she likes you man." Suna pat his friends back.

"She was smiling."

"So? She smiles with everyone." Suna says, trying to ease his friends worries.

Now he was stressing out, he wasn't sure of your feelings for him and whether or not you accepted the confession from the boy. He grumbled the rest of the way home with Atsumu and Suna trying to reassure him.

You on the other hand apologized to the boy who confessed because you didn't return his feelings. You looked around trying to find Osamu, but failing to do so.

Instead you walked back home alone, normally Osamu, Atsumu and sometimes Suna would walk you home since it was on the way to theirs. On the way home, you listened to music with your headphones to pass time.

"Mom, I'm home!" You yelled as you unlocked the door. She didn't answer you, but you saw her car in the driveway. As you neared the fridge you saw a sticky note.

Y/N,
Your dad and I will be gone for
the weekend, last minute business trip.
We left money for you, see you on Monday!
Love you<3

Mom, Dad

"Free weekend." You mutter out loud and head to your room, dropping your backpack at the bottom of your bed. Pulling out your phone to entertain yourself in the meantime.

Your video was paused when an incoming FaceTime call popped up, Suna was calling.

"What's up?" You asnwered.

"'Samu is baking." Suna says.

"What? No way, he only does that when he's stressed." You tried to reason.

"No 's bad Y/N, ya better come over and see fer 'yerself." Atsumu joined in the call.

"Wait before you go," Suna began, catching your attention as you stopped momentarily in place. "Did you accept that confession? I saw part of it." He finished

"Ah that, haha no, I didn't accept." You answered.

The two boys let out a breath of relief, "Ok, see ya!" Atsumus says and hangs up. 'That's weird. I wonder what Osamu is stressing about...' You think to yourself.

You changed out of your uniform into more comfortable clothes, lastly slipping on your shoes as you headed out the door, locking it behind you.

Suna and Atsumu decided not to tell Osamu that you hadn't accepted the confession, so he could hopefully confess himself. I'm the kitchen, Osamu gathered his ingredients. He was going to simply make some sugar cookies to get his mind off things.

He always tended to bake when he felt stressed. He doesn't really know why, normally he hates baking, but he loves to cook meals. He thinks it's because pastries and treats are boring to him, with real food you can season, mix and do many things.

Baking is usually a last resort type thing, if anyone sees him baking then you know it's really bugging him. He was too busy to hear the light knocks you left on the door, but he managed to get a glimpse of Suna and Atsumu running to the door.

"Hey." They both greeted.

"Hey."

"'Ya gotta see it, it's weird." Atsumu dragged you inside, giving you only a few seconds to kick off your shoes and bag at the door.

"Woah, slow down 'Tsumu!" You raised your voice, Suna following closely behind the two of you. The three of you stood in front of Osamu who was facing away from you.

"Oh this really is bad." You deadpan. Osamu jerks a little from shock, spilling some flower as he turned around to face the very familiar voice.

He cleared his throat. "What're 'ya doin' 'ere?"

"They told me you were baking." You pointed to the boys on either side of you, "It must be bad." You finish. Atsumu and Suna giving Osamu smirks on the way out of the kitchen so the two of you could talk.

You took a seat at the island chair, resting your head in your palms. "So.. what's wrong? I know you hate baking." You chuckled.

He sighs. "Nothin-"

"No. Somethings bothering you, what is it? I'll listen." You say giving him your full attention. He could normally come to you for everything, but how could he admit that he got jealous of seeing someone beating him to a confession.

He really didn't want to ruin the friendship. "I saw 'ya got confessed to, got a boyfriend now?" He tried his best to seem genuine, changing the subject.

"No." You laugh. "I don't like Haru, I barely know him." You answered.

Osamu head perked up hearing this. "So 'ya rejected him?" His eyes begging for an answer.

"Correct."

He lets out a sigh of relief, his shoulders becoming less tense.

You visibly saw a drastic change in him, "Is this what you were worried about?"

He stayed silent for a few moments, a faint blush running up his neck and onto his face. "Yes" he muttered. "Look, 'ya can reject me if 'ya like, I won't take it personal. But I really like 'ya, a lot." He says, hoping you wouldn't reject him.

A smile slowly forming on your face. "Of course I like you."

"W-wait, really? Ya do?"

"Yes!"

His usual semi-flirty self was back. "Let me take you out this weekend, if 'yer free that is." He says getting excited.

"I'd love to, 'Samu." You smiled. His blush on his face becoming more noticeable. Your smile slowly dropped as you saw him fiddling with his fingers a little, looking at his half done cookies.

"Do ya wanna bake with me? 'M not stressed anymore so I don't feel like it." He chuckled scratching his neck.

You nodded and headed over to the other side of the island, taking over what he had started. After cookies, the two of you watched a movie and cuddled on the couch.

Suna and Atsumu taking pictures and teasing the two of you already.
