"That should be the last box, Sho." You greet him at your brand new apartment. Shared brand new apartment you should say.

You were beyond elated when your boyfriend asked if you'd like to move in together. He was a little nervous, but in the end there was nothing for him to be worried about since you jumped in his arms and said yes, plus you were already technically living with him at his old apartment.

In every room there was at least one of your essentials at his old place. His roommates teased him for it, finding it cute.

The room echoed after you finished your sentence. All the furniture was wrapped up in the middle of the living room. The last box was for the kitchen, he places it down and takes a look at your progress.

"We should probably order takeout." He gives you a wide open smile, showing you his teeth.

"I don't even know where the utensils are." You giggle, wrapping your arms around him, kissing his cheek.

"You missed." He grins and he attempts to kiss your lips, you decide to be playful and move back slightly every time he got close. "Hey!" He whined.

"Kidding, Sho." You giggle once more and finally press your lips to his. He hums happily, giving you multiple pecks. "I love you."

"I love you more." He nuzzled himself in your neck. "No debates." He quickly says as he presses soft kisses down your neck.

"What kind of food are you in the mood for?" You run your hands through his soft orange hair.

His fingers play with the hem of your shirt, "Anything you want. I'm not picky."

"You sure?" He nods.

"I'll see if I can get one of the couches out." He kisses you one last time then heads off to the living room while you ordered takeout.

He could hear your voice from the kitchen, on the phone with whatever place you picked for food. Meanwhile he is still taking the couch out, hopefully by tomorrow you'll both have everything out of boxes.

"Babe!" He calls for you and you emerge from the kitchen.

"Food should be here in about 15. What's wrong?" You say.

"Nothing. I just need your help moving the couch."

"Where exactly? All the boxes are in the way, baby." You laugh, looking around the jumbled mess.

"I mean, it'd be better than right next to these boxes." He answered.

You help him move the couch, breaking a small sweat. "Is the ac working?"

"Let me try." He goes to the thermostat.

"We're supposed to have a heat wave soon so if it doesn't work I'd much rather get it figured out now than later when we need it." You panic a little at the thought of having to go through a heat wave with no ac.

"I think it's just turned off." He sticks his tongue out to concentrate. "There we go." The air turns on.

"Oh thank goodness." You place a hand over your heart.

"I would've taken us to a hotel if it didn't work during the heat wave, or we could've gone to my moms."

"Speaking of, we have brunch with your mom and sister on Friday." You remind.

"Okay good, I'll have to tell Bokuto I can't hangout that day." He sets a reminder on his phone so he doesn't forget.

"How's he been doing? Last I heard he injured himself on your last game of the season." You both move to sit on the couch.

"He's doing fine now, I think he just needs a brace for support." Shoyo looks up from his phone, "Are we doing anything Sunday?"

"Not that I know of, why?" You phone rested in your lap.

"Bokuto says he's free that day and wants to hangout, you work don't you?" He puts his phone away.

"Yeah." You answer.

"I think his girlfriend works too, bummer."

"It's okay, Sho." You play with his hair. It's been getting longer these days, he's still unbelievably handsome, but you miss the short bits of his hair.

He shakes his head to get some of the hair out of his eyes, "It's getting long, huh?"

"Mm." You agree. "Maybe a little, you're still handsome." He blushes at your compliment. The door bell rang, your food has arrived. "I'll get it."

He still got up anyway, helping you bring in the food. It made his mouth water, he didn't realize how hungry he was.

"Good call." He motions to your food. "Thank you."You eat in silence on the couch, legs touching and soft smiles shared in between bites.

He finished first, setting his empty carton on the floor near the couch, "We should put a tv there." He points to a place in the room.

"Definitely a coffee table here." You point right in front of you, snuggling into Shoyo's side once your food was consumed.

"I'm so excited for us living together." He twirls a strand of your hair.

"We basically lived together in your other apartment." You giggle.

"Yeah, but I still lived with roommates. It wasn't the same." He says.

"I guess so. I'm mostly excited for the backyard." You move to straddle him. His hands immediately ease onto your hips.

"Yeah?"

You nod. "Just think about the plants and a little place to sit." You ramble, he finds it cute how you're imagining everything, especially with him included.

"We can finally get those fairy lights you're always talking about."

"Oh? You remembered," You lean down to softly kiss him, "Or those cute little light bulb ones."

He hums, sliding his tongue over his teeth momentarily, missing your lips on his. "Come back." He squeezes your hips.

You obey and bring one hand to rest on his cheek as you sweetly kiss him again. He's so excited for this new chapter in life. He's playing volleyball professionally, finally getting his own place and he gets to do it all with you by his side.

You're one of his biggest supporters in his life, you may not have been there since his first year of high school, but as soon as he met you he just knew he was ready to spend the rest of his life with you.

As you both depart breathlessly, you caress his cheek once more before getting off his lap and cleaning up the trash, you're both more than sleepy from moving in all day.

Shoyo's phone pings next to him, Bokuto confirming their hangout on Sunday, meeting at the expensive jewelry store to go pick out rings.
