Delirious' POV

It was dark.

The only light were candles that were scattered around the house.

Not just any house.

His house.

My worse fear came true.

It was after midnight, I kept opening each and every door on the second floor. I was looking for a hiding spot but every time I opened up the door, I heard him taunting me. Each time I would turn around to look behind me I would fall. I had no one to help me, everyone left. Why? Why did the voices leave me when I needed them the most? This... This nightmare...

I opened up one of the doors that were right next to the staircase, it was a closest, and it was big enough for me to fit inside of. "Jonathan ~ that closest isn't going to save you." My eye's widened and I slammed the door shut. I was starting to get a headache, my heart was speeding up, and I didn't know where to go. "Give up?" I shook my head furiously and I ran down the steps.

My phone!

The coldness off the steps was making my feet extremely cold, all I was wearing were shorts and one of those oversized shirts. We were suppose to be sleeping, he was suppose to be sleeping... "Babe, where are you going? Come back!" I heard him giggle evilly, it echoed off the walls. Every second of this was making my heart speed up faster. I ran over to the couch and quickly started digging through it, hoping to find my phone. This was the last place I had it.

"Looking for this?"

Smash

I cocked my head over to the right and saw my phone laying on the ground. The screen looked cracked but it was glowing. I tilted a bit and slowly made my way over to it. Pieces of my screen were on the floor, surrounding my phone. I bent down and picked up my phone.

[You Have One New Message]

I slowly stood up and opened up my messages.

Unknown: Turn around.

My eyes widened, my heart beat stopped, everything around me was silent. I gulped I was hesitating to turn around, but I did.

I met contact with those black eyes of his, his body was extremely close to mine. I didn't feel the warmth like I used to when our bodies are this close. I just felt the cold. I slowly started backing up, I just stared in his eyes. I was afraid of him. "Tables have turned on you, haven't they, Jonathan?"" He said, fruity. I didn't say anything, I just stared at him. I knew he saw the fear in me, there was no hiding it. Then, his tiny smirk on his face grew. "How about we play a little game, Jonathan?" The way he said my name sent shivers down my spine. I scanned his body and I frozed when I saw what was in his hand. A knife.

The door.

I turned around as fast as I could and sprinted away from him and headed towards the front door. You could hear him run after me, and it was terrifying, he was so much faster than I was. This was it, I didn't want to believe it but I had to. He was gonna catch me before I reached the door.

And he did.

I tripped over my own shoe and stumbled on the ground, I was only a few feet away from the door. Fuck.

I rolled over my back and tried to sit up, but a pair of feet stepped on both sides of me. I looked straight up and saw his face. The face I fell in love with, but he turned into me. A Monster.
