It was now later into the evening. Sasuke and I had just finished washing up the dishes and were now in my bedroom preparing to study, or as Sasuke would call it "tutoring".

We sat beside each other on my study table, with our books and laptop laid in front of us.

"Wait.. how did you find x again?" A few minutes into studying and I was already lost in this topic of Math. I looked up from the book, into Sasuke's eyes. But instead of getting annoyed for having to repeat himself again, he explained the formula gently.

He patiently rephrased his sentences and continued to teach me despite my fourth time asking.

Surprisingly, he was actually pretty good at tutoring.
Unlike our previous study sessions together, he never once insulted or made any nasty remarks to me.

"Hey, did you get what I said?" His voice brought me out of my head, I caught myself spacing out again.
I knew it, the only reason why I never wanted Sasuke as my tutor was because I could never focus properly on what is in front of me whenever he was near.

"S-Sorry, I'm getting tired. Let's stop here for tonight.." I muttered, closing the textbook on the table.
"..Already? You're not giving me a fair chance to prove myself." He complained, opening my textbook again.

I slammed my textbook shut again, "It's alright, like I said, I'm good with Sai tutoring me. You don't have to be this persistent-"
"And like I said, I'm not alright with it." He wanted to open my textbook again but my hand was sternly on it, refusing to budge.

He yanked my hand off it and grabbed the book forcefully, "If you don't want me to tutor you, you can choose someone else. Anyone but Sai."

He heaved a deep sigh as he watched me come up with an answer. My eyes darted around the room, looking for an answer. I raised my eyebrows, "Ok! I'll have Itachi to tutor me then." I stuck out my tongue and snatched the book out of his hands.

I got up from my seat to ask the older brother if he would be able to tutor me, but when I took the first step away from my chair, I was held back.

I turned out to see Sasuke eyes glued to the ground, but his hand wearily holding onto mine.
"Why is it that you would choose everyone.. anyone over me? Am I really someone so horrible in your eyes?"

It was such a rare sight to see him so defeated.
I squatted down beside his chair, looking up where I could see his dim eyes hidden behind his fringe.
"It's.. not that. You're a great person, Sasuke. In fact, you're perfect.. Way too perfect it irritates me." I chuckled lightly, nudging him with the book. He finally looks at me and replied, "Then why can't it be me?"

"O-oh.. y'know.." My brain started to work in overdrive as I had to think of an answer. There was no way in hell I could tell him that he's distracting me.
That would be so embarrassing!
"Uh.. You need the time to study too."
"I don't care-"
"You need to win against Sai in the finals. I'm-uh.. r-rooting for you."

He blinked slowly as though processing what I've just said.
Then his eyes lit up as he let out a small laugh.
"All these while.. You were just being considerate? You were thinking for me..?" His lips formed a slight smile.
"You're cute when you're worried about me."
He grabbed me gently by the hands to get up, before snatching the book right out of my hand. "But you really shouldn't underestimate me, even if I spent all my time on you, he wouldn't even be able to compete with me for 1st place."

His eyes shot up at me, smirking to himself. "Now, sit. I'm tutoring you - Whether you want me to or not." His smile disappeared, the demanding tone from his voice gave me chills and I instantly sat down beside him like a puppy.

Hours went by, and it was getting late. I couldn't concentrate anymore, my eyes were getting dry and vision was blurring. "So when you use this number.." I interrupted him with an uncontrollable loud yawn. He paused, and the silence scared me.

Fuck. I fucked up.

I slowly looked up from the numbers on the book nervously to him, and caught him staring dead at me with an unamused facial expression. I shook my head in defeat, "I can't do this anymore!" I complained, pouting, hoping I could get off the hook.

"What's the problem now? Am I boring you?"

"No, it's not you. It's just.. Math is so uninteresting!" I put down my pen, pleading him to let us wrap up this study session.

"Shall we make things more interesting then?" My handsome tutor leaned in, getting too close to my face. We were inches apart, it was almost like he was going to kiss me.

And somehow, I didn't move.
I didn't flinch.
It was almost as though, I was waiting for it to happen. My eyes naturally lowering my lids, lips slowly starting to part giving his lips an entrance.

But the moment never came.
His face teasing me, suddenly became serious. As though he realised I had misread the situation.

What was I thinking?! Why would HE even kiss me?!
I snapped out of it, I had to pull my act together to push him away like I normally would.

But he didn't move.
He didn't flinch.
Sasuke just looked at me with such a serious and gentle look. I couldn't tell what he was thinking.

I'm done for.
I'm finished.
He's never going to let me live this down.

I'm so embarrassed! I jumped out of my seat, wanting to hide my warm face behind my pillows on the bed. But just as I took a step away, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me onto his lap.

"You want this?" He kissed my lips passionately and aggressively, as though he had been waiting and wanting to do this for a thousand years.
