Summary: Steve and Javi have a new partner. The problem? She's the female equivalent of Javi.

Marnie Raleigh was the most gorgeous woman Javier Peña had even seen in his life. She was also the most annoying woman he'd ever dealt with. He knew she was different from the other women who worked in the DEA from the moment he saw her.

"We don't need another partner," Javier grumbled.

"Apparently she comes highly recommended from the FBI," Steve told him.

They entered the ambassador's office and saw her leaning against the desk.

She was dressed in the tightest jeans Javier had ever seen, a blood red t-shirt, leather jacket, topped off with a pair of black combat boots on her feet.

"Agents Murphy and Peña, meet Agent Raleigh."

"Oh please, call me Marnie."

"I trust you two to be accommodating to her."

"Of course, ma'am," Steve said.

The three of them walked out of her office.

"So Marnie, where are you from originally?" Steve asked her.

"Austin."

Steve looked at Javier. "Oh? Javi here is from Laredo."

"Is that so?" Marnie kept her eyes on Javier's as she pulled out a cigarette and lit it.

A few agents walked by, their eyes on Marnie.

She took a drag of her cigarette and blew out the smoke, giving them a wink.

"Okay, okay, get your ass off my desk. We have work to do," Javier snapped. He sat down in his chair and Marnie plopped down in his lap. "What are you doing?"

"Well I have to sit somewhere, don't I?"

"Get off."

Marnie leaned back into Javier, making sure to grind her ass into his crotch. "Mmm. I don't think I will. You're rather comfortable, Agent Peña."

Steve just watched the scene in amusement.

Javier had finally met his perfect match.

"Let's go out for a drink," Steve suggested one night.

It'd been quiet lately, so there wasn't much work to do in the first place.

"I'm in," Marnie said.

"Yeah, you would be," Javier muttered under his breath.

Over the course of two months, both agents had come to realize that she was the female Javier. She loved sex, always telling them about a gorgeous man she'd gone home with the night before. She smoked when she was stressed, on a bad day she could go through a whole pack. She could hold her liquor, no matter what it was and she was impulsive, but loyal to a fault. She'd go in guns blazing and they could always count on her to kick down some doors if they needed.

"Oh come on, Peña. Loosen up. We'll find you a gorgeous woman to go home with. In fact, I'll find you a woman."

"Fine. But for your information, I don't need help finding a woman to go home with."

They grabbed their things and went to a bar that was frequented by agents and CNP officers.

After a few drinks, Marnie was trying to convince Javier to dance with her.

"I don't dance, querida (darling)."

"Fine, if you won't dance with me, I'll go ask Martinez."

Steve laughed. "Good luck with that."

"I meant his son. That cute baby face does things for me." Marnie looked at Javier with a mischievous sparkle in her eyes, before she got up and walked over to him.

Poor Hugo Jr. didn't know what to do as she ran her hand down his muscular arm, her blood red nails standing out against the baby blue shirt he wore.

Javier finished his whiskey and slammed the tumbler down.

"Go ask her to dance, man," Steve told him.

Javier watched in jealousy as Marnie pulled Martinez onto the dance floor with him.

A slow song came on and the two of them swayed to the beat.

Javier could see them talking and laughing as they danced.

When the song was over, Marnie leaned up and kissed Martinez on the cheek.

Even in the darkness, it was clear the young soldier was blushing. He went back over to his table as a fast song came on.

Marnie stayed on the dancefloor by herself, dancing to the sultry beat. Her eyes met Javier's as she rolled her hips.

Javier got up and danced over to her. He grabbed her hips and pulled her back to his front.

One of Marnie's hands slid into his dark locks and the other settled over the one he had on her stomach. Her hips rolled back into Javier's and Marnie heard him all but growl in her ear. She let out a soft whimper at the sound.

The two of them lost themselves in the music and each other. They were surrounded by their co-workers who knew the two of them were crazy for each other, but both were too stubborn to admit it to themselves.

For tonight, they just danced.
