Summary: Brie is into DDLG and Javi doesn't know...until she gets sick.

Brie had been into DDLG for as long as she could remember. She'd always been more childlike than her classmates in high school, but it wasn't until she was in college that she found out what it really meant. After guys found out Brie was into DDLG, they often became extremely controlling and dominating.

DDLG wasn't a sexual thing for Brie, it was about comfort. She wanted someone who would take care of her and love her. Eventually Brie stopped telling guys she was into it and hid that side of her. Until she met Javier.

Javier was the perfect mix of dominant and caring.

She knew that Javier would be her perfect daddy. Brie's Little side often came out when she was sick because that's when she was at her most vulnerable.

About three months into their relationship, Brie got a really bad cold. Brie opened her eyes and rolled over in bed to find that Javier's side of the bed was cold. She frowned as she sat up, fully in Littlespace already. She got out of bed and walked over to the closet, grabbing a pair of fuzzy socks. She slipped them on her feet.

Now where was Javier?

The apartment was quiet, but she could hear the light clicking of laptop keys.

Javier must be working from home today.

Brie found Javier in his office. She opened her mouth to say something, but ended up coughing loudly.

Javier stopped what he was doing and looked up. "Brie? What are you doing out of bed? You should be sleeping."

"M'hungry," she said rubbing her eyes, "And you weren't there."

Javier chuckled. "I'm sorry, baby. I had some reports to get done. Let's make you some breakfast." He stood up and came towards her.

Brie's arms immediately wrapped around his torso.

Javier stroked her hair as he looked down at her flushed cheeks. He felt her forehead. No fever. "Brie?" Javier asked her, afraid she'd fallen back asleep.

"Mmmm. Daddy."

Javier froze. Did she just say what he thought she said? Did she even realize what she said? They'd never talked about this.

But suddenly, all Brie's behaviors made sense.

Javier scooped her up in his arms, holding her to his chest.

Brie wrapped her arms around his neck as he carried her to the kitchen.

He set her down in one of the chairs in front of the bar. "What do you want for breakfast?"

"Hmmm...pancakes!"

Javier smiled.

Her voice had gone high pitched and had a slightly whiny tone to it.

"Any particular shape?" he asked.

"What about Mickey Mouse?"

Javier searched the drawers and found a Mickey Mouse head shaped cookie cutter. He handed Brie his phone and said, "Why don't you pick something to listen to?"

As Javier started to make the pancakes, Brie tried to decide what to choose. She finally settled on a Disney songs playlist. She set her head on her arms and closed her eyes.

"Are you sure you're okay, baby?" he asked her.

"Mmhm."

Javier made a note to give her some medicine later. Finally, Javier set a plate of pancakes in front of her and a glass of orange juice. "Eat up, Baby Girl."

Brie reluctantly sat up and started to eat her breakfast.

Javier grabbed his leather jacket and his keys.

"Where you goin'?" Brie asked, her mouth full of pancakes.

"Gotta run down to the drugstore. I'll only be gone for a few minutes. Now give me a kiss."

Brie pressed her sticky lips to his.

"Now finish eating. When you're done, leave it on the bar and I'll take care of it. Then you can watch something on Netflix."

"Okay, daddy."

Javier left the apartment and Brie finished her breakfast, making sure to do exactly what Javier told her. True to his word, Javier returned about 15 minutes later with a Walgreen's bag in his hand.

He set it on the coffee table and pulled out a bottle of medicine and tissues. But what he pulled out next made Brie want to cry. He pulled out a coloring book, some crayons, and a stuffed bear.

She threw her arms around his neck. "You're the best daddy ever!"

Javier smiled and kissed her head. "I know, baby."
