Summary: Alia and Robb are on their way to Dorne.

A/N - Inspired by "In All My Dreams I Drown" from The Devil's Carnival.

Alia was less than thrilled when Robb told her they'd be traveling by boat to Dorne. "Must we?"

Robb sighed. "It's the quickest way, my love. We can't risk riding through Lannister territory."

Alia hated the sea. Ever since she was a small child, despite coming from a kingdom surrounded by water.

They'd been on the sea for two days when Robb begged Alia to get some sleep. Even Grey Wind couldn't soothe her.

"You need sleep, Alia."

Alia shook her head. "I'll sleep when we reach Dorne."

"That's days away. Please. You're worrying me, my love."

Alia knew she was being neurotic and unreasonable, but she couldn't make herself go to sleep.

Even Robb taking her to bed wasn't enough.

Alia lay there awake. Just as her eyes started to droop, she heard water rushing into their cabin. Alia sat up in the bed and her eyes widened. "Robb, Robb, wake up!" Alia shook her husband.

"Wha...?"

"Water. There's water."

"We're on a ship, my love."

"The boat is sinking!"

Robb got out of bed and threw on his shirt and pants. "I'm going up on deck. Stay here."

"What? No. No, you can't just leave me here!"

"Everything is fine, Alia. I promise."

Alia sat in the bed, clutching Grey Wind to her chest while she waited for Robb to return. He came running into the cabin.

"The bottom of the ship is completely flooded. They're loading boats for us. We should be able to..."

The boat lurched to the side and they were both thrown to the floor.

"Robb!" Alia screamed, but he was no where to be found. "Robb!"

Grey Wind was gone too. But how was that possible? They were just with her.

Alia started to cry as water continued to fill the cabin. She needed to get out of here. Alia stumbled to her feet and tried to make her way up on deck, but her path was blocked.

The water was quickly rising. Soon it would be over her head.

Alia tried to tread water to keep herself afloat. Her head pressed into the ceiling above her as she tried to take one last breath. Soon, she was completely submerged. Alia tried to hold her breath as long as she could, but she needed to breathe!

Robb awoke to Alia screaming his name. He sat up, ready to grab his sword, only to find Alia was in bed next to him.

Grey Wind stood by her side of the bed, whining in distress.

Alia was thrashing around in the blankets.

Robb pinned her arms to her side so she wouldn't hurt herself or him, which made her panic even more.

"Alia! Wake up!"

Alia jerked awake and found Robb leaning over her. "Robb?" she whimpered.

"It was a nightmare, my love. You're safe."

Tears filled Alia's eyes and she started crying.

Robb gathered her in his arms and rubbed her back to try and calm her.

"The boat sank. Oh god, it was so horrible Robb." Alia buried her head in Robb's chest.

Robb called his footman into the room and requested a cup of Milk of the Poppy be brought to them. Oberyn had given it to him in case something like this happened.

The footman handed the goblet to Robb.

"Drink this. It will soothe you and help you sleep."

"Please. Don't make me go back to sleep."

"You won't dream. I promise."

Alia willingly drank the medicine and within a few minutes, she was passed out in Robb's arms.

When they arrived in Dorne, Robb carried a sleeping Alia off the ship.

Oberyn took her from him and carried her to her room like he did when she was a girl. He laid her in her bed and tucked her in. "Welcome home, princess."

Sunshine and ocean air greeted Alia in the morning. She was finally home.

Her father entered the room. "Good morning, princess."

Alia smiled. "Papa." Alia slid out of bed and wrapped her arms around her father.

"Come downstairs. Your sisters are here."

Alia got dressed and went down to the courtyard. Her husband was surrounded by her youngest sisters, Dorea, Loreza, and Elia.

Robb turned and smiled when he saw her.

She walked over to him, gently kissing his lips.

"You look well, my love."

"I am better now that we are here."

Grey Wind trotted over to them and put himself between his masters and the three women.

"Grey Wind," Alia said, grabbing the scruff of his neck, "Behave."

Grey Wind growled at her sisters.

"What has gotten into you?"

Grey Wind turned and started pushing Alia back with his snout.

Ellaria, who was watching the encounter, carefully approached them.

Robb knelt down to pet Grey Wind, trying to soothe him.

"Alia dear, may I speak with you?" Ellaria asked.

Alia followed Ellaria into the palace.

"When was the last time you bled?"

Alia blushed in embarrassment. "Why?"

"Because, little one, I think you may be with child. It would certainly explain the behavior of your canine protector."

Together Ellaria and Alia went to the maester and confirmed Ellaria's suspicions.

Alia was carrying the heir to Winterfell.
