When I was little, I loved the idea of having a Soulmate. Someone who was made for me, but, as I got older to hate the idea of having someone already chosen for me. So, I ignored it and found someone who was like me and didn't want anything to do with their Soulmate & I fell in love. That's why, I'm now living in Japan with my Father, who is never home. Which isn't a surprise.

I've been going to Nekoma for the past week, the only one who talks to me is the Half - Russian who's in my class. His Soulmate is on the same Volleyball team as him, he calls him his Short Senpai but to never mention his height in front of him.

"...Lev...do you think...I can be your Manager?" I muttered, staring at the desk

"I don't see why not." Lev said, putting his head on my desk so he could look me in the eyes,

I smiled at him, and nodded my head. Lev had to go back to his seat when the Teacher came in, I liked being in his presence. He made me feel like I wasn't alone, and he didn't ask me about my Soulmate or anything about them. I knew, everyone thought they were dead or something else that was bad. But...it's not like that. It's all my fault.

I walked with Lev to his club room, and waited for him with my head down as other members of the team walked past me. None of them talked to me, which was to be expected.

"Thank you for waiting~" Lev said cheerfully,

He took my hand and walked with me to the gym, he didn't let go even when he stepped inside. He got yelled at for being late, and a volleyball was thrown at him. He avoided it though, but...it hit me square in the face. I lifted my free hand to my nose, and looked at my hand. It was bleeding, the guy who threw the ball freaked out and apologized to me.

"Let's go get your nose taken care of," a guy in a different colored uniform said with a sigh,

"It's fine." I gave him a small smile

"Athena - San." Lev said, his face going serious as he looked me in the eyes

I looked down and nodded my head, letting the one who came up to me to the bench to take care of my nose. It stopped bleeding quickly, since I pinched it right away and didn't tilt my head back. Lev told me everyone's names,

"I take it you want to be our Manager." the Coach said, grinning down at me

I nodded my head, as I wiped my hands clean on a towel I was given. Lev wiped my face, completely focused on getting all of the blood off. Someone was about to ask about my Soulmate, but Lev glared at them and then grinned at me. Saying he should toss him some balls, before taking off to get the basket.

"He's exhausting," Yaku sighed, sitting next to me

"No...he's special," I shook my head, looking at the ground

"Why do you want to be the manager?" the Coach asked, as everyone got back to practice,

"...I managed the Volleyball team in America...my mother said I should join the team, but...I couldn't bring myself to try...until now...Lev wanted to ask me, but he wouldn't..." I kept my head down, as I told him

"Your Father came to ask me to take care of you, if you showed up." the Coach said,

"...He did?" I looked up at the coach in surprise,

"So. You still want to join?" Coach grinned down at me

I nodded my head, looking at the Volleyball team as they practiced. Yeah. I can get used to this again.

After being the Manager for a month, I told them about why I moved here to live with my Father, I couldn't bring myself to look at them. Everyone had the same look, when they found out. A look of disgust. It was something I chose to do, and regretted it soon after. My mark wasn't gone, but...the scar would be on the both of us, theirs more faint than mine...I couldn't even tell what it was anymore.

"Asshole. If he ever comes here, I'm kicking his ass!!" Tora - Senpai shouted, anger in his voice

"Alright. Go run off that not needed energy. Five Laps around the building!" Coach shouted,

Nobody complained as they walked out, I looked up at Kuroo when he ruffled my hair.

"It happens, don't let it change the fact that you have a Soulmate who will still care for you." Kuroo said, a smile on his face

"...How do you know that? I...I tried getting rid of them." I looked down, tears dripping onto the floor

"We've seen someone with a soulmate mark with a line through it. He still wants to find you," Kenma said, a small smile on his face

"You'll meet them at the Training Camp, next week. Only if you want to, I'll have them be quiet if you don't." Coach said,

"No...I want to apologize..." I smiled, rubbing my eyes,

~Skip a Week to the Training Camp~

I stood by Coach nervously as the other teams showed up, Kuroo & Kai went to greet Karasuno. I hung out with the Coaches that were here. Kenma had went with them, and Lev was no where to be seen. Which meant he probably followed after them.

"They're here." Coach said, patting my back

I looked over at the door, Kenma was smiling at the orange haired boy. Hinata Shouyou...he's adorable. I smiled a little, I didn't want to go over but I knew it was better to get everything over with and get hurt sooner rather than later but...I couldn't get my feet to move.

"Kuroo!" Coach called out to him,

Kuroo looked over to him and then at me, he smiled softly then turned to the guy standing next to him. Sawamura Daichi...I bit my lip and looked down at the ground. What do I do again? What am I supposed to say again? I know we went over this. I jumped a bit in surprise when someone cleared their throat, I looked up and froze a bit my mind going blank when I looked into his eyes.

"I'm sorry," I cried, the first thing that came to my mind,

"It's okay now," Sawamura said, as he pulled me into a tight hug,

"Ah, I knew you wouldn't remember," Kuroo sighed, teasingly

"Sh-Shut up!" I sniffled, not looking at him and keeping my head hidden in Sawamura's chest

"He means to say, he's forgiven you and will be whatever you want," someone said,

"Sugawara!" Sawamura snapped in annoyance,

"Sorry to interrupt this, but we should start playing Volleyball." another person said bluntly,

"Tsukishima! You ruined it!" someone else yelled,

"He's right. We can talk later," Sawamura said, patting my head after we let go,

I nodded, and rubbed my eyes dry. I took a deep breathe in, letting it out and I smiled at him.

"Do you play Volleyball?!" Hinata asked, popping up out of nowhere with a sparkle in his eyes

"A little...when I was in America," I smiled a little at him,

He was dragged away before he could ask me to play with them, I shook my head and went to work on my Manager duties. He doesn't hate me. I smiled to myself as I recorded their scores.
