I kept that fake smile, as I watched her walk down the aisle. It broke my heart, but it's my own fault for never saying a word. Shikamaru was the only one who knew, well...he figured it out. Neji did too...and he was going to help me get over Naruto.
After the wedding we had a party-time thing that they normally have after the wedding. Naruto grinned at me as he and Hinata came over to me as I stood by the food while everyone else danced.
"Thanks' (Y/N), I guess I never really thanked you." smiled Naruto
"What for?" I tilted my head to the side
"Being my friend, and helping me get the courage to ask Hinata to marry me...so Thank you" he grinned
"It wasn't a problem, that's what friends are for right?" I smiled
"Ano....are you feeling alright?" Hinata asked
"Yeah, why do you ask?" I said
"You looked a little sad for awhile..." said Hinata
"It's not important, I was thinking of something I shouldn't have..." I started
I felt like something was here. No...it was someone. I knew he was still alive. I knew everyone else sensed it, everyone had gone serious.
"It's a wedding...and you want to ruin it?" I sighed
"Hm...I just want to make you happy my dear~...don't you want to be happy? I mean, you did lose the two people you love." said the man
"Don't be such a coward, and show yourself!" shouted the Mizukage
"I can bring him back for you, and you can be happy...well, it's more like you can bring him back. Can't you (Y/N), you've...updated the Reanimation Jutsu so you don't have to have a live body, you just need the dead one~" he said
A body was thrown down...Neji's. I clenched my fist, it doesn't look old, or smell bad.
"I've had it preserved just for you.~ So you can be happy, or I can make the other man you love yours~" he purred
"(Y/N)..." said Shikamaru
I knew he was thinking up of a solution.
"Gomenasai, Minna. He's a bit obsessed with me...Hey...Naruto. We'll be friends forever, right?" I smiled
"Huh? Of course!" he grinned
I smiled, and pointed at them.
"Your girl will be named Himawari, promise me." I said
"Baka! Choose the other one!!" the man yelled
I stuck my tongue out and let the kunai stab my arm as I stood in front of Hinata.
"Baka~ I love Neji more~" I grinned
That's a lie, he knew it and so did Shikamaru...but, that's why I chose to bring Neji back. I walked over to Shikamaru and gave him a hug.
"Thanks' for keeping it a secret," I grinned
"This isn't a goodbye right, reanimation jutsu won't kill the user." said Kiba
I gave everyone a hug using my clones as I walked over to Neji's body. I did my hand signs and placed my hands on his shoulder as I kissed his body. I closed my eyes and focused.
-="(Y/N)! What are you doing here?!-Are you?!" Neji's soul spoke with wide eyes. I turned to the man sitting on a Chair, and kneeled. He sighed and nodded,=-
I pulled away, my body feeling weak. Neji's eyes opened and looked at me with wide eyes.
"You idiot!-How could you let her do this?!" Neji snapped at Naruto
"Huh?" said Naruto confused
I fell to the ground, I let my eyes close and took in my last breathe.
"....Thank You." I muttered
~No One's POV~
Everyone stood their shocked, she was dead, Neji was alive.
"No matter what, you still need another life to bring one back. She used her own. It only works though, if you love that person. She didn't have a choice?" said Neji
"Damn it! She was supposed to choose the other one!!!" the man growled
Neji used his Byakugan and threw a Kunai at the man. Killing him,
"That makes much more sense." Neji sighed
Lee and everyone else hugged him, happy that he was alive. But after the happiness, came the sadness.
"She did it to protect both you and Hinata." said Neji
Everyone was confused at his words.
"She's not here to kill us for telling him now" said Shikamaru
"...She loved him?" said Sakura
"If she chose him, Hinata would have died." Shikamaru said
Realization dawned on him, and his fists clenched. Hinata looked down sadly.
"She wouldn't want you to be sad." said Neji
He lifted up her lifeless body, after exchanging a few words they left. Everyone snapped out of it and had fun. Every once in awhile they would think about her. But would snap out of it.
