162. One Piece: N/A ~ Not From Here Pt. 2

I stared at the box that Thatch was holding out in front of Ace with a smirk, he just stared at it in confusion. I clenched my hand into a tight fist, should I stop him? If I do, then Teach would never know what kind of fruit it is; but he might find out later and I won't know when and if I could stop it. I bit down on my lip in thought,

"Little Elf? - Elfie!" Thatch yelled, making my jump in surprise

"Huh? What? What's wrong?!?" I asked him, looking around, startled

"You okay? You look like you saw a ghost when you saw the box," Jozu asked, putting his hand on my head

"It reminded me of something I preferred not to remember, I'll be fine," I smiled up at him

"Hm...what do you think of becoming a Devil Fruit User?" Thatch smirked at me,

"...No, thank you. Especially not that -" I covered my mouth, before I could say anything

I immediately fled the deck, going up to the top of the mast. I could hear them calling for me, they wanted to know what I was about to say. I knew, Whitebeard, Marco, & Thatch - who were on deck - knew why I stopped myself. Thatch said he was going to put the chest away, I'm going to need to keep a close eye on him.

I held my side, as blood started to pool around me. Damn, all I did was steal Thatch's devil fruit to throw it into the sea. I'm sure, Teach never saw it and Thatch didn't know what it was. Is it because of what I said? I stared at Teach, he was about to deal the killing blow when we both heard footsteps. He took off, well, I'm probably going to die anyways. 

"RIN! - EVERYONE GET UP!!" Thatch yelled, as he ran over,

He put a cloth on my neck, to try and stop the bleeding on my neck. He put another one on my side, he yelled again and this time there were hurried footsteps. Someone said they would get doc, Marco knelt on my other side putting pressure on my neck while Thatch put pressure on my side so I didn't have to. I couldn't say anything, I just offered a weak smile.

"It was hidden, you moron. It would have been fine, no one would have been able to find it." Thatch snapped, tears welling in his eyes,

I lifted my bloody hand, and flicked him on his cheek before dropping my arm back down. Thatch scooted over when Doc showed up,

"I'm going to have to take care of her here, Cassie, go grab the emergency kit and as many towels as you can. Two of you boys go help her, keep pressure on her side Thatch. I'm going to work on her neck first. Sorry kid, you're going to have to deal with the pain for awhile," Doc said, as she slowly took off the cloth that Marco was putting pressure on

I gave her a thumbs up, I squeezed my eyes shut tight when she started cleaning my neck with water and soap. It stung, my hands were squeezed and I felt a pair of hands on my ankles, holy hell it hurts. I passed out from the pain, thank the heavens.

~Time Skip a Month, brought by a angry & sad Crew~

"Morning Sunshine," Thatch joked, when I opened my eyes

I turned my head to the side a little, offering him a sleepy smile. Body still hurts, but not as much. I'm going to guess that I was out for awhile. I should also wait for Doc to tell me if I can talk before trying to and making the Injury worse.

"Don't talk!" Joy shouted, as she threw the curtain open

"Joy. There's other patients in here," Doc said, annoyance in her voice

"Sorry..." she gave Doc a sheepish smile,

I wasn't going to be able to speak for at least a year, maybe never again. I would be bed ridden for another three months from my side and I would be able to eat solid food in that same amount of time, so for now all I could have were liquids. Which was going to suck big time, but. It was worth it, since Thatch is still alive. Though, if I were to do it again I would have kept my mouth shut.

~ Another Time Skip, another Sacrifice Made. ~

I groaned, dropping my head down when Hancock told me that Luffy was here to rescue me. Of course he did. I should have just stayed away from the damn crew! It's not like they're going to kill me either, I'm the only elf that exists. They would be making my kind extinct, and I'm protected from the Celestial Dragons because of that reason too. Well, whatever. I don't care. I closed my eyes for awhile, and when I opened them I was looking at a smiling straw hat pirate who appeared in front of me with Ivancov and some other pirates.

"You Moron." I sighed, but smiled at him

"Hehehe, Let's go home!" he grinned brightly at me,

I was set free, I told Luffy we were taking Crocodile with us; when I stared at him he grumbled but complied. As we made our way up, we set other pirates free to aid in our escape. We ran into Teach but I told Luffy to leave him and dragged him past Teach. I'll let the Government deal with him. I stopped at the gate, with the others behind me at the sight.

"...Who knew someone else would come break you out - Oi," Marco said with a smirk,

"What the bloody hell?! - I told you guys to stay away!" I yelled, annoyed at them

"Did you? When was that?" Thatch asked, tapping his chin in thought

"Whatever," I sighed, scanning the area

"Ace jumped down the Elevator - " Izo started,

"Ace is here?! - ACE!! I SAVED HER!!" Luffy yelled, running and jumping down the hole

I groaned, I should have had a tighter grip around him.

"You guys can all get on the Marine Ship that's still docked here, oh, and Crocodile. Leave Whitebeard alone, kay?" I gave said person a closed eye smile

He grumbled but agreed, Ivancov left on a separate boat that had came out of nowhere. Probably the Rebels. I waited with the other Whitebeard Pirates, by the ship; but then I remembered I ran into a  certain someone.

"CRAP!" I shouted, before anyone could ask me anything I teleported to Ace

I was right. Luffy's here too, and we can't take him and his new crew on all at once. I ran over, grabbing Luffy & Ace's hands. I squeezed my eyes shut, Please. Please! Take the three of us to Marco! My body felt weak, I let go of Ace and Luffy as I fell forward and into someone's arms, I coughed up blood.

"Are you going to be okay - Oi?" Marco asked, worry in his voice

"Rin? What's wrong?! - What did you do?! - That was so cool!!" Luffy shouted, excitement and worry in his voice

"Teach...would have killed...you both...Had to get you guys...away from him..." I smiled tiredly at him and Ace

"That bastard's here?!" the Whitebeard Pirate Crew shouted,

"He has the Yami - Yami no Mi. You can't beat him while he has his crew..." I shook my head, as I got up onto my feet

"...We got what we came for! Let's go!" Whitebeard ordered, his voice booming

"But Pops! - " Ace started,

"Rin was the one he injured. And we did not come here to have a fight with Black Beard," Whitebeard looked at Ace,

"...Where's the Straw-hat Brat?" Thatch asked,

I groaned along with Ace, knowing full well where he possibly went.

"LUFFY! DON'T EAT ALL THE FOOD!!" Ace & I yelled as we ran towards the Moby Dick

I could hear the cooks yelling, wondering where the brat came from; I opened the door and sighed. As Luffy snatched the already cooked food, Ace & I had to both use all of our strength to drag him out of the Kitchen as everyone else came on board. Can I retire now? They're all just too much for me.
