I was known as the 'Mother' of the Black Bulls, well, only within the Black Bulls base. I didn't leave the base. I wouldn't, and I didn't need to either. I was safe here, the nightmares stopped after a couple of months. I didn't remember, doing what they said I did. Yami and everyone of the Black Bulls believed me, especially when they learned I was patient and didn't get mad easily.
When Asta and Noelle both joined, Asta opened up to me right away. Noelle was more hesitant, I wasn't surprised at that because I knew who her siblings were and she's a Noble. They hate me the most, not sure why.
"Nanako - san, what do you remember?" Noelle asked, as we stood outside in the snow, waiting to hear from the Black Bulls or any of the other Squads
"...Something was off with him, and I went to confront him about it. I remember him, telling me to forget it, then it goes into bits and pieces. He breaks up with me, and then nothing. After that, I'm in the Infirmary at the Castle, Dominato, Julius, Own and Marx come into the room and I'm no long a Magic Knight, and I can't use magic. Not unless I have my sword, the one I gave to Asta." I told Noelle as I looked up at the sky,
"You mean the one that's broken in two?" Noelle asked me, confusion in her voice
"Yes...apparently, it broke while I fought Julius, I was in a rage. He knocked me out, so I was told. None of it seems familiar to...me..." I trailed off, when I felt a familiar mana,
"...I need to get up there." I told Noelle, as I looked at the Mountain Asta, Gauche & the Mother went to
"...I can drop you off," Rachel said, coming over to us
"Thank you," I gave her a grateful smile
"Be careful! - Captain Yami's going to kill me," Noelle sighed, dropping her shoulders
"No he won't. I won't let him," I winked at her,
Rachel just flew to the mountain and made a turn, I jumped off as she turned around. I ran into the mountain, using my muscles and going as fast as I could. When I got to the room where everyone was, my head started to pound. The reason was, the reason was the guy with black and white hair. His eyes widened slightly, before he smirked.
"Nanako!" Yami & Asta both yelled, as a beam of light headed right for me
Nozel - who was closest to me - wrapped his arm around my waist and brought me over to Yami & the other black bulls. The two Captains coming over to us, to regroup. My head was hurting,
"You idiot!" Yami growled, glaring down at me
"...His mana...it's familiar to me..." I muttered, holding my head as I stood on my own, looking right at the guy with black and white hair
"He can copy magic by touching someone's Grimoire, that's probably why. He touched mine," Yami said, as he helped me stand
"Another person to protect, perfect," Charolette scoffed, glaring harshly at me
"No. Asta." I looked at him, holding out my hand
He grinned and pulled my broken sword from his Grimoire and handed it over to me. I attached the pieces, using my Mana to reattach them.
"My Grimoire...I haven't seen it, or touched it in two years. But...the feeling. You feel like it, and I want to know why." I said, looking right at the black and white haired man,
"Oh? Someone who lost their Grimoire?" the man smirked at me,
"No. It was taken away from me, because I almost killed my ex - boyfriend - ah. Correction. my Ex - Fiancé. Plus, injuring the Wizard King. Want to know a fun fact, something I just remembered. I didn't need my Grimoire for it, which is funny. Because, that would mean. I don't need my Grimoire to kill one of you. Right? Should we put that to the test," I pointed my sword right at the black and white haired guy,
His smirk faltered slightly, if I saw it, the four Magic Knight Captains better have.
"Let's find out, I forgot about that detail." Jack said with a chuckle,
The other two agreed, while Yami laughed. I crouched, enhancing my body with Mana I moved in front of the big guy. I swung my sword at him, but he blocked it with his claws.
..........
I can't do it. I laughed weakly, I can't kill him. I smiled up at Yami,
"I couldn't...kill him..."
Nozel and Yami intervened before I could get killed by the beast, I could feel the black and white haired guys frustration along with the light users'. Something feels off, I couldn't place it. Finral was helping me stay standing, as they finished the fight. The bad guys ended up getting away,
"What a perfect vacation," I laughed,
"You're not going anywhere without me anymore." Yami glared at me, as he and the other Captains - along with Asta - came over
"We should have Julius give her back her Grimoire and spar." Charolette said, looking to Nozel & Jack, glancing at Yami
"You really almost killed the Golden Dawn's Captain?" Finral asked, looking at me with wide eyes
"That's what I was told when I woke up in the infirmary. Only reason I'm not in prison is because of him." I shrugged my shoulders,
"Wait. You called him your ex - fiancé. What was that about?" Asta asked, giving me a confused look
"Oh right, he proposed to me three days before the incident. Still having trouble remembering everything. Bits and pieces came when I felt his presence...I think...if I can see my Grimoire, it'll help...not sure. It doesn't really matter to me though, because I have Yami~" I grinned at said man,
"We're going home," Yami said, taking me from Finral and throwing me over his shoulder
Ah, I'm going to be sore for a week.
