I loved him ever since we were little, but then that monster attacked. My father placed me on his horse and sent me far away from them. The horse knew where to go, and wouldn't leave me; he had told me before saying goodbye. I knew, I wouldn't 'see' any of them again and I had wanted to go look for Gray but. I had to survive, that was my Father's last words. I'm sorry Gray. I'm so sorry. I cried as the horse kept on running.

"(Y/n)?"

"Yes? Have we met before?" I asked the person that was in front of me,

"Gray! Don't just take off like that!" a woman shouted, as she came running over to us

"Fullbuster?" I asked the man in shock,

He grabbed my hand and placed it on his cheek, I dropped my walking stick and ran my hands over his face; taking in his features. They were similar to the one I touched when we were kids, but more mature. I felt him wipe away my tears,

"I thought you were dead," I sniffled,

"I should be saying that," Gray muttered, as he put his forehead against mine. Lucy left us alone.

"My father placed a protection spell on me, and I still have Shadow. He's a stubborn old horse," I giggled, rubbing his cheeks with my thumb

"Come back with me." Gray said out of the blue,

"I can't let you take care of me, I'm going good on my own." I shook my head, taking a step back

He linked our hands together,

"She could help around the guild hall. I'm sure Master wouldn't turn her away," a woman said as she approached us

"...On second thought, you might be safer here on your own." Gray said, almost immediately,

"That doesn't sound like a bad idea, it actually sounds like a lot of fun." I giggled, squeezing Gray's hand reassuringly

I jumped in surprise when Gray slipped his arms around my waist from behind,

"Gray! I'm trying to focus!" I frowned, as my magic bubble popped

"Sorry," he shrugged his shoulders, as he put his chin on top of my head

"He's not sorry at all," Lucy giggled from across from me,

"Maybe we should teach you sensory magic first," Levy said from beside Lucy,

"That would be more useful for someone like me," I hummed in approval,

"(Y/n)." Gray said as he tightened his hold on me,

"I know, it's not a bad thing that I was born blind." I leaned back into him,
