April was followed by May, and before anyone noticed the end of the year was closer than ever. Quidditch was... well, let's just say this year wasn't good for Slytherin.

The team was in a rough patch, which didn't help Louis to have a good reputation. Everyone loved him when they won (which, to be honest, was a rare event) yet hated him when they lost. Due to this being his first year as captain, there had been some petitions along the year to replace him with someone else.

But thankfully, none of these actually received more than two or three signatures. So yeah, quidditch wasn't even in the top three of (Y/N)'s concerns. Instead, her mind was preoccupied with the thought of her grades.

Trapped in her own worries, she didn't even think about Sam's sudden rush to pack up her things until the girl started to pack her things as well.

"What are you doing?" (Y/N) had asked her friend, looking up from her book.

"You did the same thing last year. The last day of the year is in two days, did you seriously not notice?" Sam sighed.

"Damn. Everything passed so fast..." (Y/N) put down her book and stood up, quickly thanking Sam for starting to pack her stuff.

"Yeah, soon we'll be starting sixth year. And then our last year..." A wave of nostalgia hit the two of them.

(Y/N) chuckled, "Remember when we had a snowball fight back in first year?"

Sam grinned, "How couldn't I? I basically destroyed you."

(Y/N) laughed and playfully nudged Sam with her shoulder, "You wish. You were basically leaving a trail of snow when we went back to the library."

"Oh my God, remember when Madam Pince tried to kick us out?"

Ignoring the weird expression Sam used, (Y/N) grinned. "I'm pretty sure we're still on her blacklist. Have you seen like she glares at us? I swear I feel her eyes in my back all the time."

"And it doesn't help how loud Louis and Leo get. Those two are a dangerous duo, I'm telling you."

(Y/N) stayed quiet for a moment before looking at her friend, who was reciprocating her gaze with curious eyes. "What are you doing during the summer?"

Sam shrugged, "Not much. I'm staying with my grandparents this year, my parents went on a cruise or something... Why do you ask?"

"Just curiosity. Maybe this year we'll actually see each other during the summer." (Y/N) said, and Sam nodded.

"Would you stop doing that?" (Y/N) nagged Louis, who was treating his wand as a drumstick. The two were currently seating in the Transfiguration classroom, with Sam sitting in front of them, dangerously close to Professor McGonagall. "If you get points taken off from us a day before the end of the year, people will literally hunt you down."

"Psssh, you know that with a flick of my wand I could send them flying to the nurse wing."

"You literally burned yourself trying to do the fire-making spell." (Y/N) joked.

"Yeah, and it hurt like hell." Louis grabbed his sleeve and pulled it up, revealing a bruise. "But the good thing is that I actually know how to use that spell now."

"It took you what, 4 years?" (Y/N) chuckled, "We learned that spell back in first year."

Louis got red, "I missed that class, okay? Stop bullying me."
