(a/n): hey guys! for this chapter, i changed the structure. it mostly consists of letters (Y/N), Regulus and Sirius exchanged during the summer. i tried for it to be as understandable as possible, so i changed the font. (Y/N)'s letters are normal, Sirius' are in italic, and Regulus' are in bold.

I would really like to keep being in contact with you during the summer. Not a lot has happened since we last saw each other, which is a given considering that school ended just 2 weeks ago.

You were right. Your letter was unexpected, yet not unpleasant.

It has been a long time since I exchanged letters with someone, so you'll have to excuse my owl.

It's actually my grandma's, but since she is drowning in work, she let me borrow it. When are you going to go to Diagon Alley?

Well, as for the Diagon Alley request, I'd love to do go with you. Actually, I really want to show you a bookstore James' mom recommended.

She told me it also has a cafe, something they stole from muggles. It sounds pretty good and I know you like to read, so what do you say?'

And about the bookstore, of course! I'd love to go with you. Do you know if they have a dress code?

I wouldn't want to show underdressed.

I'm not really sure about the dress code thing, but I can investigate it for you.

How are you? This will probably be the only letter I'll be able to send over the summer.

It's not anything personal, just my parents. They're control freaks and won't let their owl out of their sight.

Sorry for the scribbling, grammatical mistake. I meant to say that I'll send letters to all of our friends to tell them so they don't worry.

However, I will be able to read all of your letters. Just send them directly to my room, so my parents won't be able to read them.

Also, I just opened my birthday gifts and I want to thank you. I left painting because my parents refused to buy me more, so the set of watercolors was really appreciated.
