The ballroom was well lit, colors of every kind were everywhere. Stunning women and men littered the floor. The engraving of gold everywhere and the music had come to a halt. All eyes were on me and Tubbo. I know he felt my sudden tense Feeling

"Big sis, I got you. Don't worry it will all be fine." I mouth back a quick thank you while we took our step in. The entirety of the room bowed. I felt so flustered since I had never been in a room full of people at once, the birthday party was nice, but the number of people attending had drastically changed. Tubbo and I moved to the side to where the thrones sat. My father's was empty. Expected.

"Doesn't it look amazing here" Tubbo said looking everywhere wide eyed like a little kid in a toy store

"It sure does, look at it all" the music had started playing once again. "Why don't we do this more, isn't the Schlatt bloodline like filthy rich now?"

"Technically yes, it's just Schlatt that doesn't want to do anything." 

"Yeah, seems like ass"

"Really doe-"

Guess who's here~" the all too familiar Mexican said from behind me

"Alex!" Tubbo and I said in unison. We both walked u to Alex and gave him a hug. "So what did I miss?"

"Not much really" I said

"We were just waiting here for Schlatt to start the whole event" Tubbo chimed in

"That could take centuries" Alex joked

"Don't doubt it" I snorted

"y/n maybe you should start the event, could show the guests here you stand with power." Tubbo said

"Vouch" Alex said looking at me 

"Yeah how would he feel if he found out his daughter, the princess, started the ball. That wouldn't end well for me." I said rolling my eyes.

"What he doesn't know won't hurt him" Tubbo said mimicking me from earlier getting a chuckle from Alex

"Yeah well he can make an unexpected appearance, also I don't sound like that." I said pointing at Tubbo while saying my last statement

"Yeah an appearance while drunk to only get more wasted and forget most of it tomorrow." Alex said now sitting down in my dad's chair. 

"Yeah I guess your right," I called one of the workers over "Can you please bring a glass of wine and" I turned to Alex and Tubbo "you guys want anything?"

"No I'm good" Tubbo said

"Wine aswell" Alex said 

"Please and thank you" I said to the worker as they walked over to the bar next to the dance floor. "Alright, once the drinks arrive I'll formally start it, mainly for the confidence and wine has a thing that makes people look classy, so it works."

"Sounds good"

"Can I do a toast with you?" Tubbo asked

"Yeah of course" I said putting an arm over his shoulder. I turned to Alex "You wanna make an appearance too dumbass?"

"Yeah, sure why not" he said getting up and standing next to me. The worker returned with our glasses of wine and I instructed him to please let the band know to stop playing momentarily. When they did I knew it was my time to project my voice, I was originally going to just talk loudly but the same worker handed me a microphone stand to talk into.

"Good evening everyone" I was smiling  trying my best to not crack under all the eyes looking at me. "Welcome to the Schlatt castle, or my home" I made no sense, who would say that. "My father will possibly not be here for a portion of the event, but ither way we welcome  you all. Please enjoy yourselves tonight!" I raised my glass alongside Alex, the crowd followed our movements and tons of glass cups went up, each with a different liquid

"To Manberg, it's citizens, and for it's future triumphs!" Tubbo continued. 

"To Manberg!" The crowd exclaimed. Alexander I clinked our cups, and took a sip.

"Please enjoy tonight's festivities, food and dance! I will be around  talking to others hopefully, so please don't be shy to say hi!" I said with a smile and dismissing the crowd to go back to what they wanted. I talked back to my chair and took a seat with Alex sitting next to me in my dad's and Tubbo standing next to my chair.

"So y/n when does the whole suitor thing start" Tubbo asked

"When one approaches me for a dance, father said the first man to approach is the first one to do anything for their lady"

"Your dad has some weird ideals" Tubbo responded

"Wait until you start working with him more" Alex said taking another sip out of his cup, finishing  the reminiscent liquid "I'm going to get some more, I feel tired of just sitting here. You want some more y/n?" Alex said while getting up with his now empty wine cup

"Yes please" I said handing  him my cup

"Alright"

"I'm coming with you Alex " Tubbo said while following him

"Alright see you tin I'ma  bit then" I said before they disappeared. I didn't feel nervous since I was away from the others in my own little isolated place, no issue for me at all 

"Care for a dance?" 

Jinxed it didn't I?
