Flashback to the night before

Y/n's pov

"WOO YOU GO Y/N!" Tubbo screamed above us, father being as happy as ever. And Alex, well being Alex.

I looked back at Techno who was still beaming. He pulled me in for a quick kiss before turning towards the boys' direction and cheering back as a response. I just blushed and melted further into Techno's arms.

"Shall we?" He held his arm out for me to take.

"We shall" he led us in the castle with a lineup of the staff cheering, did they forget it was just a promise ring? I mean it was something big but still.

I walked in with Techno and we made our way towards the main doors quietly. It was a very comfortable silence, one I had gotten used to. But the silence was broken by two enthusiastic rams coming down the stairs with a more or so pissed looking Alex behind them following.

"TECHNO AND Y/N SITTING IN A TREE-'' Tubbo sang out loudly as he made his way downstairs.

"No Tubbo, not now" Schlatt swiftly hit the back of tubbos head emitting a giggle from the both of them. "TECHNO, Y/N CONGRATS!" He said making the rest of his way downstairs and wrapping us both in a hug.

"Dad it's just a promise ring" I said, laughing

"But it means so much to me that you're finally happy." He cupped my face and kissed my forehead, tears brimming his eyes. Before he pulled away he placed his forehead on mine and gave me a quick whisper.

"You haven't called me dad in years, thank you."

He turned to techno and pulled him into a hug. "Thank you for letting me see her smile, please never let it fade" (lmao little did he know)

"I'll try my best sir." Techno said eyes locked on mine.

"We gotta celebrate!" Tubbo yelled "lets go to the silver bell! y/n and I love the food there!"

"To the gold coin we go!" Schlatt yelled before heading out with a laughing tubbo and beaming Techno. Just as I was about to follow in pursuit, a hand stopped me.

"Y/n, I know it's a promise ring, I know you love him, but please, PLEASE, watch out." I turned to face the eyes of a very worried Alex. (Always listen to Alex kids)

"Don't worry Alé, I know you  dont feel great about him, but trust me in time. Now lets go out and xelebrate for a bit." I hugged alex and we waked out arm in arm. The three others wating for us outside.

Present time

Y/n's pov

I woke up still in last night's clothes, techno's arms draped over me. I was in my room. The walls flooded with the oranges and pinks of the sky.

Sunrise.

I slowly got up to not wake techno up and saw a balled up tubbo on my rug. I look over to the balcony and yep, sunrise. 

I picked tubbo up and placed him on the bed next to techno and tucked him in. Was it easy? Well try picking up a seventeen year old sleeping kid and tell me how that goes. 

I went into my closet and closed the doors behind me before changing into something more comfortable. I made my way back outside and into the balcony.

I breathed in the fresh morning sir and took a seat on one of the small nearby chairs. Memories of last night flooded in alongside with the ruby red diamond ditting promptly on my ring finger.

I smiled and closed my eyes.

Life is perfect.
