|24| A Kid's Dream

"Okay, how do I look?" Julie ask as she shows you and Stella what she's wearing. It's a tight dress that compliments her body. Her hair is nicely done and she's wearing makeup that's not too much nor too little. She even has heels one.

"Woah! Mommy look like a princess!" Stella says with a smile as she sees how pretty her mother looks like.

You couldn't help but whistle, "Looking good Julie-- You know what, if you come home tonight I'll be pissed. I'm going to Barricade the doors and windows if I have to," you tell her which made her laugh.

"(Name)!" she says.

"I'm serious! Go have fun. Felix is a good guy. I mean, you like him, don't you Stella?" you ask her and she nods.

"I like it when he throws me in the air and catches me. It's a lot of fun!" Stella says with a giggle.

"I'm glad you like him sweet but you okay with mommy being with him?" Julie ask as sits down next to her daughter.

"He's your prince charming mommy but does that make him my daddy?" Stella ask which made you step out of the room as this is a sort of conversation between mother and daughter even though Stella is young.

You hear a car pull over so you walk to the door to look through the pip-hole. You see Felix getting out of the car with a nice suit and a flower at hand. You open the door and when he saw you, he jumped.

"Hey," Felix says with a smile, "Do-Do I look okay?" he ask nervously.

"Lose the tie. It makes you look like a lawyer," you tell him.

"Yeah, I thought so too," he says as he places the flower on the top of the car and then takes off the tie as well as unbuttoning two buttons of his shirt. He puts the tie in the back seat and then grabs the flower. He looks at you.

"Much better, now come knock the door. You never saw me," you tell him as you turn around, walk back inside the house and close the door.

Felix walks up to the door and takes a deep breath. He knocks at the door, "That has to be him," Julie says as she stands up and rushes to answer the door but before she does, she runs to the kitchen as that's where you are, "Quickly, how do I look?" she ask once again.

"Like a babe!" you answer and she went to answer the door. 

You walk to the living room and signal Stella to come with you to see Felix reacts when he lays his eyes on Julie. Stella gets up and follows you with a smile. You both watch as Julie opens the door and Felix raising his eyes from to the ground to look at Julie.

"Hi--Holy mother of---"

"Yes, a beauty isn't she?" you say with a smile as Felix was a lost of words. Stella giggle while holding your hand, "Now go have fun," you tell them.

"Alright," Julie says as she walks to Stella and bend down, "You be a good girl like usual and listen to what (Name) says, okay. No going to bed too late," she says and then she looks at you, "Nor eating too much sugar," she says and you look the other way, "I love you princess," Julie says as she pecks her daughter's forehead. She stand up and pecks yours too which surprised you, "You be good too," she adds as you look at her.

You smile and give her a nod. Julie then left with a speechless Felix who's still trying to find the words to compliment how beautiful Julie looks right now.

You and Stella couldn't help but watch. You both watch Felix open the door for Julie and drive off together.

"What are you drawing this time?" you ask Stella who's sitting on a chair with a paper and colours in front of her that's on the kitchen counter while you were baking. She wanted to keep you company.
