Chapter 22- Some News

Dear diary,
I texted Cecilia saying I forgived her but I didn't want to be friends. It felt like a heavy weight had been lifted from my shoulders. Then I decided I needed a break from all the drama in my life so I texted Con at 11 in the morning.

Me: Hey, wanna go out, just the two of us? x
Connor: Yeah sure, I need to tell you something. x
Me: What is it? x
Connor: I should tell you face to face. x
Me: Ok, anything serious? x
Connor: You can decide for yourself. x
Me: Ok but I have work today at 1:30, starbucks is open again. x
Connor: Ok, don't worry, pick you up in an hour. xx

I didn't reply because xx usually means the end of the conversation. So I got out of bed and put on my One In A Minion t-shirt, black jeggings aka my best friend (sorry Summer), grey converse, a grey hoodie and my blue coat. Millie was asleep so I left her a note. For my hair, I put it in a high ponytail.

In exactly an hour, Connor arrived. I locked the door and took a seat in his car while I said hello.

"Hello gorgeous." He replied.

"So what did you want to tell me?" I asked.

"I'll tell you when we get outside. Where are we going anyway?" He said.

"Ummmm, how about the park?" I suggested.

"Okay." He said.

After about 10 minutes, we got to the park. As it was a cold morning, there was frost everywhere. The swings were swinging back and fourth because of the wind, making a creaking sound because they were at least 30 years old, either that or a really fat kid sat on them.

"Maybe this wasn't the best place." I said while rubbing my hands together.

Connor laughed. "Okay, you might wanna sit down."

"I'll pass, the bench is a little wet." I said.

He took a deep breath, held my hand and looked into my eyes. "Me and the boys are going on our first ever tour."

"Oh my god! Congratulations!" I screamed while hugging him.

"It's around England." He said.

"Better than nothing! How long is it?" I asked.

"A month." He said

"When do you leave?" I asked.

Connor looked down on the floor. "Tomorrow at 7 in the morning."

I was really upset but happy for him. "Oh." I lifted his head. "We can text each other, call each other and skype." I said.

"Yeah, i'll call or text you everyday. I promise." He said before pulling me into a hug.

I held back my tears while I snuggled into his chest.

"Lets go somewhere else, i'm spending the whole day with you." He said.

I smiled. "Where shall we go?" I asked.

"Well we are going to loads of places but I know a special place that we have to go to first." He said.

Thank you for 700 reads! This chapter would've been up sooner but I don't write my chapters in one go, so I wrote a bit then saved it, exited the draft and the app, went back to my draft, when I clicked it, it said it had been deleted. Luckily, I hadn't wrote that much. This happened about 3 times. I was really annoyed but wanted to publish so I wrote this in one go. If anyone knows why this happened. Please tell me in the comments.
