Gayoung walked out of the pop-up store after yet another shift and caught sight of the ice cream shop. Walking past it, she remembered how Yeona sat beside her together with Yoongi and Hoseok just a month ago. A sad smile appeared on her face as she let out a sigh. She missed Yeona.
The owner of the ice cream shop caught sight of her and gave her an enthusiastic wave. Gayoung plastered a small smile on her face and waved back. Then, the owner walked towards her, alarming Gayoung.

"Are you here to get ice cream?"

"Ah- I-"

Gayoung stammered, unable to find the right words to reject the owner. She hated how she was unable to say 'no'. Just a simple word but yet when she said it so many times, it still happened to her in the alley. What was of the use of 'no'? Consent was never important to people. Hence, she could never say the word ever since it happened.

"How about mint chocolate chip ice cream cone? Your favourite!"

The owner suggested, beaming brightly as she led Gayoung into the shop. Gayoung tried to say 'no' but the words would not come out of her mouth. Then, she saw a familiar pair of canary shoes shining brightly before her.
Immediately, her heart skipped a beat as she looked up with anticipating eyes. It was Hoseok. He smiled as he looked down at her.

"I think she doesn't really want to get ice cream toda-"

Gayoung felt her heart burst with gratitude as Hoseok was able to say no for her but it did not matter as much anymore. She was completely captivated by him. His normally neat sable hair was messy and tousled. Without even thinking, Gayoung gave him a warm smile, tip-toed and tried fixing his hair. 
Hoseok felt his heart starting to race as his eyes were glued to her face that was just centimetres away from his. He looked down at her twinkling eyes that resembled a brown sun that radiated with inner medallion. She was beautiful, even when fixing his hair.

"Two mint chocolate cone ice creams,"

The owner said, handing each cone to Hoseok and Gayoung. Hoseok who had his eyes glued to Gayoung the entire time snapped out of his thoughts and was a bit flustered. He noticed how Gayoung's face was champagne pink as well as his. Her blossoming smile and eyes shone as she stared back at him.

"Uh- wow, we both got the same kind of ice cream haha..."

Hoseok muttered, completely flustered as his cheeks instantaneously turned even more rosy. Gayoung just laughed it off and walked out of the shop, waiting for him to follow suit.
