I narrowed my eyes, not tearing my gaze away from the boys. He started to take a step towards me when I felt a gentle tug on my hand. "Come on Akari, you don't want to get tangled in pureblood's business," Kisa said.
I looked at her wide eyed. So he was a pureblood. I honestly couldn't figure out what was so bad about them. How could such a young boy be sent to settle such gruesome business. I glanced back at the boy before letting myself be led away.

Kisa's living room was fairly spacious, cozy decor and furniture was dotted around the room. I perched on the large sofa in the corner of the room. Sounds of Kisa bustling around in the kitchen making some food. The cut on my arm still stung but Kisa had bandaged it up for me.
"Kisa?" I asked, bringing my knees up to my chest.
"Yes?" She set what looked like soup down on table.
"Why do you hate purebloods so much?" She froze.
"That's a difficult question to answer really. But just keep this in mind if you ever meet a pureblood of aristocrat is that it was their fault that you were stuck in that place. The Brotherhood was it? It's their job to make sure the lower classes are kept in line. Their job to make sure organizations like The Brotherhood don't exist. Their job to make sure people like you don't suffer," She sat down next to me, rubbing her cold hands together.
My brow furrowed. But did they really have to send what looked like a 14 year old boy to sort it out?
"I know a man called Kaien Cross, he was thinking of running an academy humans and vampires can live in harmony. Not that I completely agree with his pacifist ideologues but if he does ever get permission to make it happen, I think you should go there. The humans who will go there won't be told of vampires existence but there will have to be few who have to know. Like you."
