As time passed I got used to Seiren following me around like as puppy. Though, if I did call her that she would likely rip my throat out. On multiple occasions her not being able to leave me did result in a few awkward situations such as when I was taking a bath and she just walked in.

Kaito on the other hand was very hard to get used to. You always had to have some sort of verbal retort to whatever he said or it would it would result in a verbal knockout.

As Kaito seemed to run into me randomly it usually instigated a verbal war between Seiren an him which was sometimes entertaining due to the weird insults they were able to come up with. One such insult was "monkey sex smelling asshole" as delivered by Seiren.

Seiren always sat behind me in lessons which I wouldn't call pleasant exactly due to her tendency do critique everything I did. Especially if critique meant destructive criticism.

As I dragged my bag down the hallway, I was very close to just losing it. Seiren's little comments had been chipping away at me all day. Plus a crappy nights sleep didn't exactly help.

"You know, I don't know what Kaname sees in you, he could have at least picked someone better for me to follow around with better posture," Seiren remarked, sounding board.

Normally I wouldn't think of violence in a situation like this however now seemed like a perfect time to use it. I turned on her. "Look, I don't know what Kaname sees in me either and to be honest I've had it up to here," I placed my hand far above her head,"With your snooty comments, I already tell myself those things enough and I for one don't need a pet parrot repeating them!"

Seiren didn't speak another word for the rest of the night.
