Unfortunately, Arima had kicked me out when midnight rolled around. We hadn't completely finished the English so he begrudgingly had agreed to finish it with me on Sunday as we had English the following morning.
"I saw you talking with Rinji-Kun, is there anything going on between you to?" Umi's voice called out from the dark, knocking me out of my dream land. It would have been a fool's move to think Umi was asleep. I shifted so my head rested on my arm and shuffled around so I was laying, facing her.
"Rinji-Kun, who's that?" I cocked an eyebrow even though it was so dark Umi couldn't see my face.
"Oh it's Arima, I'm surprised you don't know that."
"When did you get so close that you were on a first name basis with Arima-San?"
"Hey! I'm supposed to be the one asking questions!" I heard to sound of Umi's duvet hitting the floor and being dragged across it. My bed creak as she sat the end of it. My eyes had adjusted to the dark enough for me to see her short, messy, black hair.
"So what is going on between you and Rinji-Kun?" She leaned closer to me, a curious look in her large eyes.
"I was just pestering him to help me with English that's it," I huffed, shoving Umi of my bed. A dull thump sounded as she hit the floor.
"OW! Alright! That's it! You're done for!"
I shrieked as Umi pounced on me.

"You wanted to see me Headmaster," I said as I slid into the Headmaster's office, knocking the door shut with my foot.
"Ah yes, Miss Tokuma-"
"Don't call me that." It came out harsher than intended and I felt the Headmaster's concerned gaze upon me. A crease formed in between his eyebrows.
"Then what would you rather me call you?" He asked, a sympathetic look replacing the concerned one. Had Yagari told him about what had happened all those years ago? No he wouldn't have? Would he?
"Akari is just fine."
"Well then Akari the Vampire Hunter Association has a new mission for you. I tried to get them to go away by saying you had to focus on school work but they kept pestering me to tell you." He rubbed the back of is neck, guiltily. "But the news that you will be hunting down a deranged Level E is not the only news I have for you. You're going to be hunting it with Zero."
