~A few days later~

"What do you mean he wants to see her?!" Kisa's voice shrieked waking me from my slumber. I slid my legs out of bed and crept towards my bedroom door. Pressing my ear up to the door I heard another voice.

"Look, I don't know why but he does. It was only a request though. It should be up Akari if she wants to see him or not. The Kuran also wanted to talk to you, a proposition I think." It was Yagari's voice.

I cracked the door open and slipped through it into the hallway and found Kisa leaning heavily against the wall and Yagari still in his thick coat.

"Oh Akari," Kisa noticed me and immediately stood up straight, wiping the look of anger off her face," You startled me." She kneeled down in front of me and placed her hands on my shoulders giving me a strange sense of déjà vu.

"The pureblood who you saw before at the Vampire Hunter HQ wants to see you. I...I-it's up to you if you go or not," she looked at me with what looked like pleading for me not to go but...I wanted to find out why the vampire hunters hated them so much.

"I want to go..."

Kisa stepped out of the room where I was supposed to meet the pureblood with a pale face, as though she had just had to make a heartbreaking decision. "You should go in now..." Kisa trailed off and slumped down a chair, staring blankly at the wall.

I slid off my seat, smoothing down my red dress that Kisa had bought me. Peaking my head around the door frame I saw the boy sitting on a white armchair. His head snapped around so he could see me. I took a step further into the room as he stood up.

"My name is Kaname Kuran, what is yours?" He said, holding out his hand. I moved further in room and took it after hesitating. Kaname yanked on my hand making me stumble forward. He placed an arm around me back and lifted a hand to my head. It was only seconds until sweet unconsciousness enveloped me.
