"Hey! What are you two doing out here? Your supposed to be in class!" Zero's shouts woke me up. I was starting to wonder if I would ever get a peaceful nights sleep when I realised who he was shouting at. Hanabusa Aido and Akatsuki Kain where standing, half concealed in shadows; their eyes, for some reason were fixed on me.

Zero let me jump down off his back and I stood my ground, not breaking eye contact with the vampires.

"Like he said, why are you out here?" I was itching to draw the Angel's katana, not out of fear but to feel like the comfort and familiarity of the hilt in my hand.

"We smelled blood and came outside looking for the source of it. You can't really expect us to stay in there with suck a sweet scent in the air." Aido stepped further out from under the tree and walked towards me. I didn't have time to draw my katana before he had ran a finger down my cheek gathering the blood on his finger tip. He put his finger in his mouth, sucking on it.

Click. Zero had draw the Bloody rose gun, pointing it at Aido's head. I tried to pull the katana from it's sheath but I couldn't grab the handle as someone had caught hold of my wrist. Their grip was gentle.

"I would appreciate it if you lowered the gun, they are particularly deadly to my kind," Kaname's voice said from behind me. I froze. He let go of my wrist his fingers lingering for a second than they should have.

Zero lowered the gun but continued to glare at Aido, not letting him out of his gaze. I turned around to face Kaname.

"This wasn't exactly how I had planned meeting you again Akari-San, if you could even call you falling in front of me 'meeting'." My cheeks heated, it only intensified when he noticed it.

"Kaname-Senpai, could I talk to you in private sometime?" I asked, trying to calm down.

"Of course, now Kain, Aido I still need to think of your punishments." And with that the vampires disappeared into the dark.
