"Well, it seems that this time you were not able to slip through our fingers Akari," A silky, aristocratic voice echoed around me. Groggily opening my eyes, I found a found pair of violet-blue orbs right in front of mine, staring intently. I scrambled backwards and my back soon hit a wall. "Tut, tut, tut, hurting yourself will not do anything to help you," The woman strode over to me and pulled me up onto my feet. The velvet of her green gloves felt comforting against my rough hands. My eyes darted around the room but the only things there were the dull grey stone walls, no windows, no doors. A chandelier hung from the high ceiling. How was anyone supposed to get in or out?
A smile spread across the lady's face," No you will not be able to get out."
"Who are y-you?" my voice shook.
"Sara Shibuki or you might know me better as the Duchess," she booped my nose. I winced, why was she being so...strange? "You poor thing, you must be wondering why you are here are you not? "What did he do?"
"I was making bucket loads of money off of the Level C's but no, he had to go and snitch on me to the 'Vampire Hunters'." Sara shakes her hands when she says it. "Now look at me blabbing, there is no reason for me to tell you all this," She narrows her eyes. Sara makes a move towards the furthest wall but I grab her shoulder. She casts an irritated glace down at where my hand touched her bare skin as if I was dirty. "Can you just answer me one more question?" I said with my best 'this would mean the world to me' voice.
"Fine, what is it?"
"Why can I not remember...anything?"
"Kaname probably felt sympathy for you and got rid of all of your bad memories of your times there," Sara pouted," I do not know why though." My grip went slack and my arm fell back to my side. Once again, she moved towards the wall. "Goodbye." Sara's body glided through the wall.
I hurled myself forward after her and I ran straight into the very solid wall. How-?
