"My son! My son!" Yeonghon cried out between the kisses she was giving Yeonjun on the cheek. "My Jjunni, my Jjunni's back!" She rejoiced as Yeonjun could do nothing but hide his face away at the base of her shoulders, soaking her hanbok with tears as he held on to her as if he'd wake up from a dream if he were to let her go.

"Jjunni," His mother uttered once more, her soft hands traveling to both of his cheeks, trying to look at him one more time. "Let me look at you. . .

"Mom. . ." Yeonjun finally choked out, pressing his cheek against the soft hand of his mother. He sniffled and met her gaze, taking in her beautiful features, features which he'd only seen in his dreams. Oh, his mother was beautiful, with rosy cheeks and long red-brown hair that fell perfectly down her slender shoulders. And, oh, her eyes. . . The way they shone with love the more he dared to dive deeper into her brown gaze.

Her hands moved away from Yeonjun's cheeks and moved upward to his hair and ears where she brushed her fingers against the fur before gently brushing the strands of hair away from Yeonjun's face so she could look at him again. A little burst of pride surged through her as she took all of his features in since Yeonjun had inherited his father's moon-like hair, which showed violet strands as the sun hit them. . . His little puffed lips always reminded her of a little duckling and his two glazed brown eyes reflected the love she had for him.

Yes, this was her cub. The first out of the two she'd lost that fateful day. . . Her little Jjunie had finally come back to her.

Yeonjun laughed slightly when his mother could not hold herself any longer and kissed his forehead, nose, and cheeks as if he were a little cub again. "My Jjunie. My little Jjunie," She repeated before bringing Yeonjun closer to her again, letting her son drive the air away from her lungs with how tightly he held on to her. "I'm here. I'm finally here with you. . . Oh, please don't cry." She murmured between own her sobs.

"I know. I know.. ." Yeonjun replied before trailing off as his brown orbs lifted to look at the warrior that still stood a little distance away, unable to go forward and break the perfect reunion of the two.

The warrior was like a reflection of Yeonjun; tall, with strong shoulders, and silvery hair. The only differences were that the skin under his eyes was speckled with freckles and his eyes. . . Which were the same green of a leaf under the sunlight. And though the warrior didn't dare to move, Yeonjun could see how much he was holding back through the amount of emotion that drifted away from those leaf-green orbs.

The two's eyes met, and when Yeonjun finally nodded at him to come forward, Jingu did not hesitate to run to his lost child and join the embrace. As soon as he did, the three of them found themselves entangled in an embrace as both Yeonghon and Jingu nuzzled and kissed their lost cub.

Yeonjun couldn't feel anything but euphoria at this very moment as his nose filled with the scents of his parents, scents that he'd only previously encountered in his dreams. . . Oh, could this be a dream too? No, it couldn't be. He was here with his parents! He'd found them and they had found him. His stage of dreaming about this moment had finally become a reality. . .

Yet, it was still a crude reality, because the only he'd been able to reunite with them was because they were dead. . . And so was he.
