Chapter 28

Kai, Jeongin, and their two "babysitters", Yuchan and Junhee were hanging out between the pretty white puffs that invaded the sky.

"Can't catch me!" Kai exclaimed happily, the tiny braids that Jimin had braided to keep his long hair at line flew against the breeze that blew at his face.

"No fair!" Jeongin called, attempting to jump at Kai until the 17-year old flew away to another cloud. "You got wings."

"Your point?" Kai tilted his head innocently and stuck his tongue out. "There's clouds everywhere! I'm sure you can use them,"

Despite his new cocky attitude, Kai then let out a dolphin-like screech when Jeongin leaped at him. The older pressed his hands against the younger's chest and pinned him against the puffy and soft cloud, making small drops of condensed water to fall down from it.

"You're such a brat!" The 19-year old exclaimed, more playful than annoyed despite his tone of voice.

Kai had been uncomfortable by being pinned against his will, an unwanted memory slipped  into his mind, but was soon forced back into the deepest depths of his conscious when Jeongjin began to tickle him.

The 17-year old let out a string of giggles and laughter, obviously enjoying the sudden attack. "No, stop it!" He tried to curl into a ball and protect himself from the tickles, but this only gave Jeongin the opportunity to balance upon him and attack him even more.

"What happened to the cute and shy boy I met 2 months ago?" Jeongin stopped tickling his friend and poked his nose. "Bring him back, I miss him."

"Pfft! What are you talking about?" Kai cupped Jeongin's face and brought it down so their foreheads could touch. "I'm the same Kai from before!"

Jeongin pulled away and moved his hands to pinch his cheeks, offended at the lies being fed to him. "Liar!"

Kai slapped Jeongin's hands away, earning him another attack of tickles that filled the blue sky with cute giggles and loud laughing from Kai.

It was funny how much he enjoyed the helpless feeling of someone earning laughs from him.

A few months had past since he joined his tribe, but it was incredible how much joy his tribe had been able to gift him with. His tribemates loved to pamper him and spoil him for sure.

Well, he thought it was because he loved to play around with the tribe's young or because Jimin seemed to have a soft spot for him.

Jimin. . . He was his tribe's leader and the one that had been the most affectionate towards him.

The leader loved to pamper him by either brushing his hair or complimenting him everyday. The leader was so lovely and. . . He was extremely pretty too; so much that Kai would sometimes forget how to breathe and choke on mere air while being in the presence of such delicate creature.

He had told Jeongin and Chan about how fast his heart would beat or how much he stuttered or how many times his cheeks would overheat while hanging out with the said leader.

The sudden confession and the way that his eyes gleamed while talking about Jimin had made Jeongin and Chan look at each other before telling him something that had him completely shaken with surprise.

He had developed a crush.

A crush. . .

On his leader. . .

. . . Jimin.

How weird could that be?

I mean, he was familiar with the feeling of having crush. He's had one ever since he was little, but never had the courage to tell anyone. . . Even if it was obvious.
