Chapter 9

"Y-Yeonjun?"

After the totally not expected and cheesy reveal, the four boys stayed silent, astonishment filling the air as they stared at the now 20-year old with strange awe.

Yeonjun. . . Beomgyu stared at the older with wide kitten-like eyes. His mind was a whole clouded mess as he stared at the older's figure. He looked so different. . . Blue soft hair, bright green eyes with blue flecks, broad shoulders and strong arms. . .

Could it be true?

Was this just a dream or reality?

Could this really be his Yeonjunnie?

The longer he stared, the more he realized that yes, this was true. . . This man standing in front of them was Yeonjun. Yeonjun was right here. He was okay, he. . . He was. . . He was. . .

YEONJUN WAS ALIVE!!!

The silence and the sound of crickets were suddenly broken when Beomgyu decided to be the first one to break the ice by letting out the biggest, happiest and loudest squeal in his entire life. "Yeonjun!" His chest filled with joy, making his entire body feel warmer and much more fuzzy than usual as he pushed Taehyun to the side and hurried past Soobin, which almost choked on a fly after having his mouth gapping open for a bit too long.

Yeonjun's eyes widened with shock as Beomgyu basically threw himself at him by tightly wrapping his arms around him. Beomgyu was still quite strong, so the impact almost made Yeonjun stumble, but it didn't stop his eyes from filling with tears at the familiar and welcoming warm hug.

"Oh, Beomgyu!" Yeonjun cried with Joy. He buried his face against Beomgyu's neck and his arms found their way around Beomgyu's torso before lifting him up and swirling around, earning gleeful giggles and laughs from the younger.

After coughing the fly out of his throat, Soobin shook his head to clear it before looking back at Kai and Taehyun as the two lovers laughed together, too happy at seeing each other to notice the rest of the lost boys.

"How. . . How can it be possible?" Soobin asked with wide eyes as Taehyun walked over to him. He put his hands to his hips and shrugged in the tiniest way possible. "The same way it was possible for us to run away? I don't know," He then let out a smirk and brushed his chin thoughtfully. "Now, should I burst their bubble?" Taehyun suggested before Kai jumped at him from behind. "Don't you dare!"

"Ya! Get off me, you brat!" Taehyun hissed, almost stumbling forward. Even though he had been slightly startled by Kai's action, Taehyun went ahead and wrapped his arms around the younger's legs to give him a proper piggyback ride. Could you blame him though? Kai was too cute to resist.

"It's you!" Yeonjun exclaimed, finally putting Beomgyu down and cupping his cheeks. "You're here!"He stared at Beomgyu's tiger-like eyes and stripped cheeks. The younger had certainly lost most of his baby fat, his jawline was sharper and his cheeks weren't as chubby. The younger was taller too, oh he had grown so much!

After a few seconds, Yeonjun came to notice that the younger's bare shoulders weren't covered, then he noticed his bare chest, then his torso and. . . Oh my.

"You're. . . You're. . . Um. . ." Yeonjun cleared his throat and brought his eyes back to Beomgyu's face while untying and taking his cape off. "H-Here, cover yourself, there's a lot of mosquitoes going around." He put the cape over Beomgyu's shoulders and made sure to cover every inch of the boy's body before grabbing the hood of the cape and lifting it so it could cover the younger's head as well.

After he made sure that Beomgyu was well protected, he turned to the other three lost boys. "And what are you three waiting for?!" As soon as he opened his arms, Kai jumped off Taehyun's back and ran with him towards Yeonjun, embracing him and clinging on to him.
