"Ah, this is amazing." Soobin smiled with contentment as he sank deeper into the warm volcanic waters of the spring.

He'd been a nervous and fidgety mess before coming over to Yeonjun and Wooyoung's meeting place, but now that he thought about it, it wasn't too bad. The water for one felt amazing against his blue scales and the atmosphere felt cozy as well. "What a great idea."

"I know!" Wooyoung cheered happily before sinking his hands deep into the water before retrieving them to reveal a pile of mud with moss mixed in it. "The mud and the moss that grows in here is very healthy too, perfect for face masks~"

Yeonjun and Soobin both gazed at the the 20-year old as if he had gone crazy. A few good seconds of silence was shared between them before they all cheered in a very familiar agreement. "Yes, bro!"

And like one would predict when you put three unusual men together, the three men's faces were covered in mud and green pieces of moss, anyone that dared to pass by and spare them a glance would sure think that the spring had been enchanted--- if not cursed, by three weird-looking water monsters.

So much for beauty and baby-like skin. . .

They were all having a great time even though they had arrived at the spring less than 20 minutes ago. Yeah. . . Yeonjun and Wooyoung had completely forgotten that the meeting with Soobin wasn't supposed to be spa day.

"Didn't they start pairing you up with Kai after I left?"

Soobin nodded, sinking down until the water was at shoulder-length. "Yeah, I caught interest way before that though. . . I think it was when you and Beomgyu started to ditch the group to go to the roof."

Before Yeonjun could reply, Wooyoung let out a huge gasp. "Wait, so that's when you and Beomgyu united your souls together?" He blinked cutely at Yeonjun, but the older only chuckled dryly.

"Haha, I'm pretty sure that piece of information doesn't concern any of you." He then gazed at Soobin, suddenly remembering why he had wanted to talk to the younger.

The thought of leaving Kai alone with Soobin terrified him. Don't get him wrong, he knows that Soobin wouldn't do anything to harm Kai in any shape or form, but his protective instincts towards the youngest of their group were really kicking in.

Yeonjun knew most-- if not all, of Kai's darkest secrets. One of those secrets being that the younger had the misfortune to be left alone with one of their caretakers who had only seen him as an easy target to prey upon.

After Kai had sobbed during the retelling of the traumatic encounter, Yeonjun had sworn to keep his precious dongsaeng away from such activities, he even went as far as to tell Beomgyu and Taehyun not to mention anything inappropriate in front of him until he had been fully healed.
