I called Abhi bhai but he didn't pick the call. I then called Vaishu di and even she didn't pick up. What is wrong, I hope everything is fine. I called Sid and even he did not pick up. I was about to cut the call but he finally picked up, and I sighed in relief.
Sid: Hello, Avneet?
Avu: Hello. Are you at home?
Sid: Yes, why?
Avu: Vaishu di aur jiju mera phone hi nahi utha rahe hai, sab thik toh hai na? [Vaishu di and jiju are not picking up my calls, is everything ok?]
Sid: 2 minute, mai dekhta hu. [2 minutes, I'll check.]
I heard his footsteps as he went towards their room, shouting their names. He opened the door and then I heard a sound of someone vomiting and Sid saying Di in worry. I sighed in relief, it's just Vaishu di vomiting, which is normal in pregnancy. But how am I supposed to convince Abhi bhai to come here, he will be so worried for her.
Sid: Avu, Vaishu di is not feeling well. What are we supposed to do?
Avu: Nothing, she is completely fine. But u guys will have to give her some space for some while. If you keep roaming around her or asking her how she is, she might end up kicking u both out of her room.
Sid: Ok. I'll tell dada. I'll keep the phone now, I have to go back to the station also. I had come home for lunch just before you called.
Avu: Ok, and sorry if I interrupted.
Sid: No you didn't. Bye.
Avu: Bye.
He ended the call. Now what am I supposed to do to get Abhi bhai out of there, he might get angry for making him come here for no reason when according to him Vaishu di is sick. Only Vibha aunty can help me now. I called her and she picked it up.
Avu: Hello aunty, mai Abhi bhai ko idhar kaise bulau? Vaishu di ko just vomit hui thi, wo ghar se nahi nikalne waale hai. [Hello aunty, how shall I call Abhi bhai here? Vaishu di just vomited, he won't get out of home now.]
Vibha: He bhagwan, Abhi bahut ziddi hai. Mere paas ek idea hai, par tumhe Abhi se daant par sakti hai. [Oh god, Abhi is very stubborn. I have an idea but he might scold you.]
Avu: Chalega aunty. Aap bas idea batao. [It's ok aunty. You just say the idea.]
