Memories (Chapter 50)

All of them were looking at Sidneet who were staring at each other, having flashbacks. Sid saw Abhinavi were about to hit by a car but saw it on time, and fell down, rolling to the side of the road, getting hurt in the process, and then Sidneet came there and called the ambulance as Abhinavi were unconscious.  Suddenly all of them except Sidneet froze hearing Sid whisper one word. And then screaming the same word loudly. 

Sid: SANA

The tears were flowing down his eyes. Ash went and made him get up. But he was still zoned out. She shook him bringing him to senses, there were tears in her eyes as well. But mostly she had hope that there is someone close to her bestie from the part of her life which she doesn't remember. 

Ash: Sid, tune Sana kaha? [Sid, did you say Sana?]

Sid: Ha, kaha hai Sana? Maa, Sana aayi na wapas? [Yes, where is Sana? Maa, Sana came right?]

Vibha nodded as she pointed to Avu. Sid looked at her, a sob escaped his mouth. Of course he had realized that she has lost her memory, meaning she doesn't remember him. 

Sid: Why couldn't I remember her earlier? 

Abhi: Tu Sana ki death ke baare mein sunkar depression mein chala gaya tha, aur maan ne se mana karta tha ki Sana ki death ho gayi hai. Psychological help lekar hume teri memory dabani padi Sana ki. Aur ab Avu aayi, jo Sana hi hai. [After Sana's death you went into depression and weren't accepting that she died. With psychological help we had to suppress your memories of Sana. And now Avu came, who is Sana.]

Reem: Siddharth, tu hai Sana ka husband? Usne mujhe bataya tha tere baare mein, par tera naam nahi. [Siddharth, you are Sana's husband? She had said me about you, but not your name.]

Sid: Ha, mai hi tha. Par aise itne saal gayab ho gayi, sab ko kaha gaya ki mar gayi, aur ab Avneet Kaur. Iski yadaash chali gayi toh mum aur pops ne bol diya ki woh mar gayi? [Yes, it was me. But she suddenly disappeared for so many years, and now Avneet Kaur. She lost her memory so mum and pops said that she is dead?]

None of them said anything. Avu was still zoned out. They all wiped their tears and smiled as Ash shook Avu, and she sat up. 

Vibha: Acha tum sab baitho, mai khana laga deti hu. Aur Avu, un 3 ladkiyon ko bhejne ke liye thank you, unhone bahut help ki. Aur tune unhe kya bola tha? Woh hume kaam hi nahi  karne de rahi thi, bol rahi thi ma'am ne mana kiya hai ki aap logo ko zyada kaam karne se. Upar se baar baar ma'am ma'am bula rahe thi, tera naam le hi nahi rahi thi. [Ok you all sit, I'll bring dinner. And Avu, thanks for sending those girls, they helped a lot. And what did you say them? They weren't letting us do anything, they were saying ma'am has said us to not let you two work much. And they were calling you ma'am ma'am only, they weren't taking your name.]

Avu: Toh? Mujhe pata tha ki aap log meri baat manoge, par aapki health ka risk nahi lena tha. [So? I knew you both will listen to me, but couldn't take risk with your health.]

Vibha shook her head with a smile and went to the kitchen. Even Avu smiled knowing they weren't taking her name, which according to them is Muskaan, as they are scared of her. Rest of the time they all just enjoyed and then went to their homes except Avu and Ash who were staying as Vaish ordered them to.
