Today I am visiting Vaishu di. Tomorrow is the final attack. I reached and mum opened the door.
Vibha: Avu, Vaishu tera hi wait kar rahi thi. Jaldi ja. [Avu, Vaishu was waiting for you only. Go fast.]
I went to Vaishu di's room and she was sitting on the bed with Vaishvik beside her as she patted him as he slept. She had black circles under her eyes and looked tired. She saw me and smiled.
Vaish: Hello Avu, aa. [Hello Avu, come.]
I went and sat beside her as Vaishvik slept near us.
Avu: Di, kaisa lagta hai bache ke sath? [Di, what does it feel like with a child?]
Vaish: Bahut thakan hoti hai pure din mein, aur raat ko bhi ye sone nahi deta, toh din ko jab ye sota hai, tab soti hu. Par iska cute sa face dekh kar saari thakan dur ho jati hai. [I get very tired in whole day, and at night he doesn't let me sleep, so I sleep when he does. But seeing his cute little face all my tiredness disappears.]
Avu: Hmm. Jitna bhi kaam karna pare, apne bache ko dekh kar lagta hai ki hume iska dus guna zyada kaam karna pade, toh bhi kar lenge. [Hmm. How much ever we have to work, seeing our child we feel like we can work even 10 times more for them.]
I said, remembering the time when Adam had shown me Sana. I smiled remembering the cute baby, who I will soon be holding. Just then I felt Vaishu di shake me.
Vaish: Tu yeh sab kyu puch rahi hai suddenly, aur kaha kho gayi? [Why are you asking all this, and where were you lost?]
Avu: Meri bhi beti hogi jald. [Even I'll have my daughter soon.]
I said under my breath.
Avu: Aise hi, naya experience hai na aapke liye. [Simply, it's new experience for you right.]
Vaish: Hmm. Avu, tujhe pata hai, Sid bol raha tha ki killer jald hi pakda jayega, koyi humari help kar raha hai, Sid kuch bol raha tha ki gang mein hai woh killer ki. Wo teen dino pehle aaya tha. [Avu, you know, Sid said soon the killer will be caught, someone is helping us, Sid said something like he is in killer's gang. He came three days back.]
I immediately tensed up. Gang wale police ke paas kyu ja rahe hai? Kal toh sab khatam ho jaana chahiye, par police involve ho gayi toh problem ho jayegi. Chachaji ki identity jaante hai woh log. [Why are the gang members going to police? Tomorrow everything is supposed to end, involving of police will create problem. They know Adam uncle's identity.]
Avu: K.. kya Sid.. harth ko pata ch... chala ki ki..killer kaun hai? [Do..does Sid..harth know ye..yet who is ki..killer?]
I was stuttering badly due to panic and fear.
Vaish: Not yet, but soon will. Finally killer ki mystery solve hone wali hai. [Not yet, but soon will. Finally the mystery of killer will be solved.]
She looked really happy, unknown to my fear, the reality behind this case and the fights for destroying the gang. With so much going on in my head, I couldn't concentrate on anything, when I felt like puking. I rushed to the bathroom and puked. I could feel my hair being lifted from my face, I guess Vaishu di held them. Once I was done, I turned to see Vaishu di looking worried.
Vaish: Avu, are you fine?
Avu: Ha di, mai thik hu, aap jao mai aati hu. [Yes di, I am fine. You go I'll come.]
She went and I closed the door before taking out my phone and dialing Adam uncle's number.
Adam: Hello.
Avu: Chachaji, gang ke log police ke paas hai, unki help karne aur jald hi aapka sach batane waale hai police ko. Mujhe bahut dar lag raha hai, police ka involve hona sahi nahi hai. [Uncle, gang members have gone to police to help them and will soon tell your truth to the police. I am scared very much, involving of police isn't good at all.]
Adam: Ye toh gadbad ho gayi. Tu abhi kaha hai? [This is a big problem. Where are you now?]
Avu: Vaishu di ke sath, Sid aur Abhi bhai ghar pe nahi hai. Vaishu di ne bataya ki gang ka ek member Sid ke paas aaya hai. [With Vaishu di, Sid and Abhi bhai aren't at home. Vaishu di said that a member came to Sid.]
Adam: Avu, tu panic mat kar. Sun, kal humari sabse important fight hai, tu aise panic mat ho itna. Kal ki fight pe concentrate kar. Sid kal kuch nahi kar payega, toh fight ke baad agar mai bacha, ko humare paas ek chance rahega sach batane ka, aur agar kal mai nahi bacha, toh yeh case hi khatam ho jayega. [Avu, don't panic. Listen, tomorrow is our most important fight, you don't panic so much. Concentrate on tomorrow's fight. Sid won't be able to do anything tomorrow, so after fight if I am alive, we will have a chance to reveal the truth, and if I die, the case will end.]
Avu: Hmm.
By now I was calm, and wasn't panicking much.
Adam: Mai phone rakhta hu, aur ho sake toh dekhna ki Sid ko kaha tak lead mili hai, mera bhanja hai, sach pata karke hi manega, par dar iss baat ka hai ki jhooton ke beech phasa hai wo. [I'll keep the phone now, and if possible check till where has Sid got the lead, he is my brother's son, he will find out the truth, but I'm scared as he's surrounded by lies.]
Avu: Sab thik ho jayega ab. [Everything will be fine now.]
Adam: Hmm, bye, I love you so much.
Avu: Bye uncle, I love you too.
He cut the call and I sighed before washing my face and going out. Vaishu di had gone somewhere. Vaishvik had woken up and was trying to roll down the bed. I picked him up and sat on the bed, as I pinched his nose softly.
Avu: Vaishvik, tu do dino mein apni behen se milega, jo tujhse sirf kuch din badi hai. [Vaishvik, in two days you'll meet your sister who is just few days elder than you.]
He giggled like he was excited.
Avu: Ha ha, apni behen se milne ke liye excited toh hoga hi, teri behen bhi tujhse milkar bahut khush hone waali hai. Teri behen ka naam hai... [Yes yes, you will be excited to meet your sister, even she will be very happy to meet you, her name is...]
I stopped talking when I heard the door open and Vaishu di entered. She was in a new dress, I guess she had gone to clean up. She looked normal, so I guess she didn't hear anything. I said Sana as Vaishvik's sister since I know that even if Adam uncle lives, he'll make me adopt Sana to keep her out of danger.
