(Y/N) always looked forward to Mondays and Fridays. Those were the days they would get a letter or two from their penpal, Foolish. They loved reading about the funny stories he wrote about dessert. 

Having never experienced the dessert before, hearing things about made them wanna go even though they couldn't. (Y/N) lived in a pretty flower biome miles away from the dessert, and they could never think of walking that far.

They enjoyed writing letters and receiving letters from Foolish, he seemed like such a nice young man. He would sometimes sent them cute little sculptures he made and in return they would sent him a bouquet of flowers they picked from their garden.

After sliding the letter into a small tube and attaching it to the birds harness, they pet the small bird before sending it off to the dessert. They watched with their hand on their cheek as the bird flew away. They sighed before pulling out a folder and brushing their fingers over some of the letters they had been given. They smiled and blushed slightly before putting the folder away and going to bed.

Most of the day consisted of walking. (Y/N) had to go to the town to get some stuff for their small little cottage. They sat down next to the prime path before laying down and letting out heavy breathes. Physical activity was never their strong suit.

They looked to the side where a small, poorly made, patch was sewn onto their jacket sleeve. Foolish had made it for them and said he had a matching one on his shirt. They smiled and turned to their side and yawned. Maybe a small nap wouldn't hurt right? They had the rest of the day, and if it were to get dark they could just stay at the community house. 

After what they assume isn't long, they wake up to see someone standing at their side. They slowly turn to see a tall man smiling down at them, he had glowing green eyes and gold accents in his hair. He held his hand out to them, letting them take it before pulling them up. 

"Thanks uh..." They look to the side with a blush, somehow embarrassed they were caught sleeping in the grass. 

"Foolish! Foolish G's the name, buildings the game." He exclaimed while pointing his thumb at himself with a prideful smirk.

"(Y/N). Sadly I don't have a catchy line" They chuckle silently while brushing their pants from dirt and grass.

Suddenly, they were engulfed in a hug. A tight hug too. He buried his face in their neck awhile hugging them. They would tell he was smiling. They hugged back and pat his back, though they were confused they wouldn't refuse a hug. 

"Though I don't mind the hug- Do I know you?" They asked as he pulled away.

"It's me! Foolish, your penpal buddy!" He exclaimed while holding onto their shoulders and shaking them slightly. 

It took a moment to process but when it finally went through their head they wrapped their arms around his waist and stood on their tiptops to give him a small kiss. They pulled away from him and covered their face while apologizing. Though Foolish was just standing there, shock all over his face.

"C-can we do that again?" Foolish quietly asked while grabbing onto their hands while smiling at them.
