So DC didn't come out right away and tell the main five his father was abusive
And they really didn't pick up on it for awhile how some things didn't make sense
Especially 'cuss DC talked about it so normally
DC's dad wanted to be called sir? Kinda weird but maybe he was formal
DC never watched Disney movies? Okay well...maybe his dad hated Disney
Never celebrated any holidays? Well....maybe his dad didn't believe in them
But then things stopped making sense. And no matter how many times DC tried to spin it, it dawned slowly that holy shit Confederation was a monster
Bonus if two of 'em (probably New York and Florida) were sorta in denial because 'wait that, nah no DC's dad was just strict is....but that sounds....nah couldn't be...'
