Clip: Chandelier scene from The Phantom of the Opera (2004). This is my favourite scene from the movie. =)

I REPEAT, DO NOT SKIP TO THE END. READ THE WHOLE STORY.

Go back to the beginning, please, ya lazy bastards.

A cold numbness swept over me as I stared into his silver eyes

A cold numbness swept over me as I stared into his silver eyes. They bore into me, consuming my soul, and I found myself unable to move. Unable to speak. Unable to call for help.

"Nothing to say?" he said, his hand burning like a brand around my wrist. "I seem to recall that the last time we met, you had an awful lot to say."

The last time I spoke with him face-to-face, it had started with me storming into his lair, my mind whirling and aching from the realization that he'd been the one who'd murdered Alie and Mr. Abrams. He was the Ghost. That confrontation had spiraled into him telling me his life story, demanding that I love him, and ended with him practically hypnotizing and seducing me with his glorious, mesmerizing voice.
