A/N: Oh, wonderful! The classic chapter where everybody goes shopping for beautiful dresses! That's never been done before!
When I woke up the next morning, the first thing I felt was happiness.
I did it! I sang in the theater!
It's been over two years since I last stood on that stage, since I last allowed myself to open up my heart and sing as though my life depended on it.
I never realized how much I missed it. How much of me had been missing since Father died. It was like Ash had found that piece of myself that was broken away, collecting dust in a corner, and was now working to glue it back on.
Though the glue wasn't strong enough to hold the pieces together forever, it was a start.
I hugged my blankets closer to me, unwilling to get up, reliving last night over and over again in my head.
We had stood on that stage for a long while, Ash holding me close in a warm embrace, my skin continuously burning where he touched me, as he whispered words of encouragement in my ear. He had then pulled back, his silver eyes glowing with pride and adoration, as he brought his arms up to cup my face in his hands, setting my cheeks aflame as the fire of his contact burned me.
