Third Person

Elena stayed silent nearly the entire ride home, she was so tense she couldn't force herself to speak even if she wanted to.

Harry ultimately understood this and didn't try to start a conversation, but he did love on her as they rode back with loving hugs from behind, little rubs on the waist, and little kisses on her head just to let her know that she was safe and that he had her back. It made Elena feel so much better, getting all the love and attention was one of the only things keeping her stable at the moment. Otherwise, she'd be a flurrying mess.

All because of the fact that all she could think about was what her mom's been hiding from her.

She couldn't believe it one bit, why would her mother do that in the first place? It boggled her mind so much that if Harry wasn't loving on her for every minute for the journey back home she'd be flurrying up a storm, but luckily Harry was there to ground her for every step of the journey.

Though it was long, Elena and Harry eventually approached home, galloping down the main bridge into the castle with Nokk they were obviously on quite the mission. Elena more than Harry of course, but he was on a mission to finally get Elena to a place where she's more emotionally stable. It's hard for him to see her so emotionally challenged at times, so he really wanted her to be okay after this.

Elena eased Nokk into a halt and climbed off him without saying a word as Harry followed, Nokk simply put his head down a little bit to show concern for the girl as she was too quiet for her, he'd known Elena all her life and knew that she only gets quiet and stops talking when she's upset. So he didn't leave just yet, he stood outside to make sure his spirit friend was alright. Meanwhile, Harry simply followed after Elena as she swished her hands apart, the grand doors to the castle flew open as the arctic winds blew at her command and she simply marched on through before shouting,

"Mom! We need to talk!"

Harry had never heard that tone, the slightly straining one that she spoke in. It scared him quite a bit, she sounded as if she was internally distressed. So as Elena was tracking her mom's footsteps through her keen hearing, Harry came to her side and bent down a little to look her directly in the eyes,

"Hey, whatever happens just know I got yer back alright darlin'?"

Elena got her familiar little smile back and nodded a little bit, Harry smiled right back at her and gave her a loving kiss on the forehead just as Elsa came into the front room, the guards pushed the front gate shut behind them just as she entered,

"Elena! You two have been gone for some time, some adventure you must've gone on hm?"

Harry didn't say a word, he simply looked down at Elena who he noticed already had a quivering bottom lip. He knew she was emotionally fragile, but he didn't think that this would already be a challenge for her. Nonetheless, she spoke up,

"Mama.... why didn't you tell me?"

She whimpered out, Elsa immediately looked on in concern and quickly made her way to her daughter with furrowed brows of worry,

"Tell you what honey?"

She asked in an endearing tone. Elena wrapped her arms around herself in a hug and reached one arm up to nervously twirl her hair around her finger as she does when she's really nervous and just about broke down,

"The ice monster? The huge ice palace in the northern mountains? What about the memories I found in there mama? What was all of that?!"

She suddenly shouted as she lost control of herself for a moment before quickening the pace of her hair twirling. Elsa grew pale, ghostly pale at that. She also slowly looked on in slight horror as she read the look of betrayal in her daughter's eyes. Elsa slowly walked over to Elena and stood right in front of her before putting one hand on each upper arm to gently rub up and down in an attempt to lull her,
