Elena POV

Wow...... what else can I say but wow?!

What a day... what a day! I mean... boy oh boy we started off with a normal stressful day, then all hell broke loose, and then... then Harry nearly passed away, then he came back to life, then I figured out how to turn into a spirit, then we best Audrey, then... then we got engaged! I... I'm actually engaged! And to Harry of all people! Ah, I can't even help but only think in all caps! Like... Ah!

I never really thought I'd be engaged at seventeen, but under the circumstances and with who it's with, I'm not mad at all! And hey, Harry and I did agree to take our time, so we won't be getting married right away, and I'm sure we'll talk more about it later, but for now, we still have a kingdom to put back together!

Well... a kingdom to put together in the morning probably, but hey we at least need to make sure everyone's accounted for! After Harry and I's beyond amazing moment together and after I made sure my mom wasn't going to have a heart attack, Mal kindly suggested that we should head back into the woods to find the others as they had been turned to stone after we left! So of course we headed back in, Harry and I hand in hand as we journeyed back into the forest to look for the others before hopefully calling it a night. I say hopefully because I sure am exhausted, we've been up since rather early this morning and it must be past midnight now, not to mention the active day we've had... the adrenaline, the emotions... it's enough to make me wobbly now that I know I can relax a bit! As we walked through the woods, tracing back our steps to find Fairy Cottage again, I kept glancing up at Harry who wore this absolutely adorable wide grin! He's just looked so happy since we got officially engaged, and so have I! I'm smiling a whole bunch too, but unfortunately... every time I look slightly further up... I feel a bit guilty. Why do I feel a bit guilty? Well... it's just... that white streak that's still in his hair, right in the front of his face too! And why do I feel guilty about that? Well, what if he doesn't even like it? I can't get rid of it... so yeah, I feel kinda bad about his permanent white streak. So as we walked, my mom and Nokk walked to our other side as she said she wanted to stay in Auradon a day or so just to make sure Harry and I are alright, I looked over to my mom and whispered to her in hopes Harry wouldn't exactly hear,

"Mama? Do you think the last streak of white hair is gonna go away any time soon?"

My mom looked over to me as soon as I started talking, smiling a bit as I spoke before sighing and simply shaking her head which made my heart drop just a bit,

"I don't think it will, from what we know a white streak is the scar of the first ever freezing incident one must endure so it shouldn't go away. In the same way that scars don't exactly go away, this shouldn't go away either. Why do you ask?"

I sunk a bit and shrugged, quietly I whispered as I leaned a bit closer to her,

"It's just... I'm not sure he's the biggest fan of it and it makes me feel bad"

My mom tilted her head a bit at me, a look of sympathy spreading across her face until it simply seemed to melt away for her to... giggle a bit? I tilted my head at her as she snickered,

"Not the biggest fan of it? You know... you could always just ask him seeing as he is looking right at you"

My eyes widened a bit as I looked back over to Harry who was simply smirking a bit at me, as soon as I looked up at him he simply ran his hand through his hair a few times,

"What were ya saying about me possibly not liking my hair or something like that love?"

I felt my cheeks get a little flushed from being a little bit embarrassed, so naturally, I sighed and looked at my feet for a moment before looking back up at him and looking at the white streak in particular,
