Prologue

Omega. 

Commonly a female wolf in a pack. The title is considered at the lowest in the hierarchy. And it was rare to find an omega thus making this group of wolf top of the list of the most wanted wolf. Not because of their crime or their wrongdoing.

Breeding.

Yes. Omega are wanted as they are said to produce the most number of offspring. This is great for the pack to expand their empire.

Being a female, an omega the lowest in the hierarchy means that they are the weakest. They easily submit to other wolves, especially the Alpha, the highest in the hierarchy. They have no power to go against anyone.

Which is why most omega are kept hidden away from people who only see them as a center of breeding.

Parents and even brothers and sisters that have an omega sibling would keep them hidden; in the basement, attic or as simple as giving them suppressant and scent-blocker just to avoid them getting noticed by other wolves.

Any wolf would easily be attracted to omega especially when the omega is in heat. Heat is the worst time for an omega. That's the time when they are super sensitive. That's the time that they really need someone, anyone, to keep them accompanied. Sometimes things happen when they didn't expect too. That's how dangerous it is.

However, an omega doesn't need a suppressant or scent-blocker, or be kept in the basement after she found her mate, her other half.

If the other half marks her, no one else can touch the omega. Unless the mark is there, anything could happen to an omega.

Kim Y/n is one of those omega. Lucky for her, her pack, the White Hounds pack, took good care of her. But that doesn't mean they let her out freely. Any parents would want their kids to be safe. They would do anything to keep them safe. And that's what her parents did to her.

She practically lived in the basement her whole life. She didn't remember when the last time the sun hit her skin. Yes, she sometimes saw the sun from the window when she walked upstairs. But her parents never let her out from the house, let alone at the balcony.

They said the world is too dangerous for her.

Since she was home-schooled, she only see things on the paper. She learn about pollination through the books, she learn about animals through, she learn about the tides from the books. But she never sees one with her own eyes.

Yes, she sometimes thinks she's not as good as others out there who get to experience everything but being an omega, she accepts her destiny, or that's what she called them.

The only entertainment she could get is from her twin brother. Yes, a twin brother that 2 minutes early that her. Kim Seungyeon, always goes to the basement to keep his twin accompany. He would bring her some flower from the garden. He would take pictures of the sunset, the moon, the stars and the sea for her.

"Sorry. I couldn't bring the sea into this room for you." he sometimes would joke.

Through the years, Y/n and Seungyeon grew attached to each other. But that was until Y/n had her first heat when she was 13.

She had to be locked in the basement for 2 days. Only the females are allowed to go down there which is why their mother always go down there to check on her. They make her take suppressant and scent-blocker.

Sometimes, her scent during her heat is so overwhelming that even Seungyeon had to lock himself in his room to keep unwanted thing from happening.

Y/n was kept safe. But not for too long. Before she knew it, her life would change drastically. If she ever hates being an omega before, she would hate it more now.
