Chapter 32

Third person POV

Minseo and Y/n silently exchange glance. Jihoon impatiently tapped his fingers on the chair arm. "Well, aren't you going to say anything to her?" he asked.

"Well I do! But I can't do that if you're in here!" Minseo narrowed her eyes at Jihoon.

Early today, Minseo came into Jihoon's reading room to ask him if he see Y/n anywhere. She had something to say to her. She forgot everything the moment she laid her eyes on her mate, Seungyeon, Y/n's twin brother. Currently Seungyeon was with Minghao. The Beta volunteered to walk him around the mansion.

"I can't leave you alone with her, not after what you did!" Jihoon glared at her. "That is why I want to talk to her, privately. You don't have to hear my apology to her." Minseo said.

"Ap-Apology?" Y/n looked at her in puzzle.

"Yes. Now can you please get your mate out from this room?" Minseo crossed her hands on top of her chest.

Y/n sighed. She don't want to believe Minseo. Who would? Minseo apologising? No one would believe that.

But she decided to her a chance.

Y/n took Jihoon's hand, "Can you...wait for me outside?" "What if she hurt you?" Jihoon asked out loud, didn't even care if Minseo heard him. "She won't." Y/n gently squeezed his hand.

Jihoon let out a sigh. "Fine." He then turned to look at Minseo. "10 minutes and not more than that." Jihoon reminded her. "I understand. Thank you, alpha." For the first time, instead of calling him Jihoon oppa, she was calling him alpha.

Leaving a quick kiss on Y/n's cheek, Jihoon got up and left the room for the two females to talk.

"You look happy with him." Minseo started. Y/n nodded, "I am." "Do I still scare you?" Minseo asked and Y/n silently nod.

"Well, you shouldn't. You are going to be the Luna soon. You'll hold so much power in you so you shouldn't be scared of anything or anyone." Minseo said. "Jihoon oppa may be an alpha, but you don't have to submit to him all the time. Sometimes, someone need to knock him on the head and I'm sure you are the one." She added.

Y/n was puzzle for a moment. Why is she telling this to her? Why is she being kind out of the sudden?

"You...you are not leaving,  are you?" Y/n asked.

"I am. In fact, I already pack my clothes." Minseo said. Y/n pressed her lips into tiny lines. Yes, she doesn't like Minseo. But she didn't want her to leave a place she called home.

"But now I have to think about my decision again. I mean your brother is here now." Minseo added.

Y/n looked at her, "He's really...your mate?" she asked and Minseo nodded. "So what is he like?" Minseo asked but Y/n shrugged. "I don't know. I... haven't seen him for years."

Minseo nodded, "I heard from Seungyeon just now. I'm sorry. I didn't know that happen to you. I'm sorry I called you with those names."

"Are you...apologising because my...twin is your mate?"

Minseo shook her head. "No." she continued to look at Y/n. "After what happen at the balcony the other days, I spent a good amount of time in my room just to think."

"No matter how much you love someone, if that person doesn't love you back, not even a bit, then it's a no for you, especially when he already found a mate."
